Stayed the weekend at White Knob RV Park, we had 3 trailers. We enjoyed staying here, there was plenty of grass, trees and open areas to take the dogs for walks. The staff were fantastic, and did not disappoint in accommodating everything we asked. Having mobile fire pits to burn was a feature that was unexpected, and took the RV Park to another level. We loved having the comforts of full hookups and a camp fire. It was a great blend. We will absolutely be returning. Thank You White Knob for making our stay great.
Stayed 3 nights here earlier this month. They have motel rooms and RV pads, but we stayed in tents. It's in a beautiful location with plenty to do--though I mostly just fished on the reservoir. The time I spent at the RV park was peaceful and relaxing. The owners are kind and attentive. You can tell they are putting a lot of love in taking care of this place. My wife says we are definitely going back and I'm inclined to agree with her. They also offer side-by-side rentals here; I have a mind to explore Mackay's famed atv trails on one.
As someone who prefers camping in the woods, I was VERY happy with this place. The spots are close, but the landscaping is great and gives you a woods feel. The hosts are very accommodating and nice. They help you with whatever you need, and they even provided us with a fire pit! They have full hookups, and even WI-FI.
First camping trip to Mackey Idaho. Our stay at White knob RV Park was pleasant from beginning to end. The staff had great advice on things to do during our stay. plan to visit again.
Stayed at White Knob RV park 3 nights. Three pickup campers pulling cargo trailers. Owners were friendly and accommodating. We had fire pit with free wood for evenings. Bathroom on site was so clean and spacious we used to shower instead of our tiny bathrooms in our campers. Mackay is incredible for SXS. Entire town was welcoming. Definitely the best RV park in Mackay. Thank you for having us in your amazing town.
Sometime in blazing hot 2021 summer months. Didn't stay here yet. So why the reviews? Well, on the road you encounter all sorts of issues. Ours that day happen to be an unhappy fresh tank leaking that started somewhere in Utah. Oh the frustration opportunity to figure out what was happening. We were in need of water to continue our diagnostic and pulled into White Knob with our Airstream. We explained to the owners we just needed fresh water and our circumstances. They were more than gracious to let us have whatever water we need no charge. 5 stars for helpfulness and kindness.
Can’t say enough about the the owners at this establishment. They went way beyond our expectations and saved our behinds this last weekend. Definitely great people here. Thank you so much!
Originally intended to spend 2 days prior to Memorial day weekend. Ended up spending Memorial day weekend and the following week and a half here and don't want to leave. Great spot to unwind and relax. Owner and his family are extremely nice and work hard to make sure you are having a good time. He helped me park, offered me a fire pit with wood, a picnic table, and oriented me to the activities in the area. The weather has been cool and damp but the nice days are stunning. Right on US93 but road noise dies off around 7pm so nights are quiet. About a mile and a half into MacKay. Small grocery with reasonable prices. Two gas stations, museum, golf course, and great off road trails for OHV fun...and you can rent that OHV right here at the campground. Wi-Fi is awesome here. I expect to make time to come out here often.
This is a wonderful family place to stay. Quiet clean beautiful. The owners are so kind and and aim to please.
Excellent location! Fair pricing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!!Rooms: 5/5
