Amazing food and service. It was the best fish I've ever had. It was crispy and juicy. The tartar sauce was home made and next level. I will for sure be back and I will recommend this place to all my friends.

The food and service were amazing. The haddock and halibut were both delicious. They have a house tartar sauce that puts all other tartar sauce to shame. This place hit the spot.
First time there this evening and it was awesome! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the halibut was AMAZING and the tartar sauce is addicting. 10/10 would recommend!Food: 5/5
My Newfie had an incurable hankering for fish last night. This is a guy that is super fussy with what fish he will eat, so finding something acceptable is the challenge in itself - he had heard many great things about Whitbie's; so we tried them out. This was the BEST decision we could have made hands down!! I don't know where that one guy in the reviews below gets the idea that the Atlantic cod is the garbage other places sell; I can attest, this fish is fresh!! It was truthfully the next best thing to eating out in Newfoundland itself! I definitely have to make reference to the great tartar sauce as well! The staff were all amazing and so considerate and courteous! This place has 100% encompassed and then surpassed the meaning of customer service! If you want a meal that will "take you home" Whitbie's is the place to go! We will be back!!

Great fish and chips! Mushy peas! Wonderful friendly staff, quick service, and unique British fare to add to the eating experience! Lots of little tastes of England. Fish is excellent, sizeable portions for the price, nicely prepared!
Just ate here with my wife. Everything was really great. The fellow working was very kind and welcoming. Really great options and it all seems well made and thought out. We'll definitely be back.
One of the best places in town for fish and chips. 2 years have pass, the owners change but the quality is still very good, the only problem I had before was the fish was a bit oily well that changed, the fish is not oily, nice crisp on the outside the fries are good and well seasoned, I'm going to change from 4 stars to 5 stars, highly recommended! Congrats to the new owners!
Homemade fries and crispy fish. What more can you ask for. Have been trying to get in to eat here for over a year. We are from out of town and could never come on a day when it was open. So happy we got to try this little gem out. Delicious and will definitely be back.
