Whiskey Creek Ice Cream

Always awesome to stop for coffee or a ice cream cone. Staff are great and friendly , Covid restrictions are in place. Only so many people are aloud in.

Family tradition, everyone pile into the truck and head for ice cream cones at whiskey creek.. biggest and best cones are here, best selection too, plus there's a killer selection of landjaeger and kombucha !! Unfortunately, the place burnt up on June 18 of this year.. here's hoping they rebuild soon

Sadly, this place was destroyed by a fire that occurred on June 17 and it will have to be demolished and rebuilt due to multiple building code violations.

Good ice cream. Friendly staff. I like that the single scoop ice cream is still two flavors.

For years and years we have gone to this shop for ice cream. If you like a cold treat, go here for value and selection on your Coombs trip. They appear to have had ownership changes since the 80's ? but so far they have kept the standard of giant ice cream cones the same, and I thank them for keeping the nostalgia of my teen adventures alive.

This place is so much more than a roadside gas station. It has a cool mountain feel and the store has a great selection of treats and other products. The best part is the HUGE ice cream cones with tons of flavor choices.

So this is a great place awesome car wash with an outside bay. But the parking lot has a poor design and you get 3 vehicles at the pump and you start to get traffic issues and quickly pours out to the road when busy tourist season begins.

The staff are nice. Good location as it's the first gas station you come to from port alberni. Has a good selection of convenience food. Nice sitting area outside. A couple other places to get a bite next door as well.

When west bound you have to turn around in the lot ... must be interesting with an RV. This is the last place before the price jumps up so stop anyway ... about $0.05/ litre right now so it does make a difference on a large tank. What most folks don't know is that all Van Isl fuel comes into Nanaimo so the price goes up, both north and south of there.

Ice cream!!! To our delight and surprise, they had really good ice cream here. Well deserved on a hot day after hiking Little Qualicum Falls.
