Cute little gem in the heart of Rutland. Took my kids there and they had a pesto cheese croissant and they ate it before I could take a pic. I had a paleo peanut butter chocolate bar I'm not paleo, I just like how it looked. Both items were great, and I'll definitely be back for more of the bars. Atmosphere is very cute. Definitely recommend for a mid morning or afternoon dessert date.

Wow, just wow. Ummm really. This is actually tucked away in Rutland. Amazing bakery. You want a cafe and a French style croissant, yup. Chocolate raspberry croissant . Holy smokes. I tried not to rip right through it. Staff was very nice and helpful. It is bigger than you think. It looks smaller from the inside. A good spot to take a break from life and just sit back and enjoy a simple pleasure.

They have revamped this whole bakery..and it is beautiful and open. The sandwiches and treats are yummy, the staff friendly. Its bright and comfortable and there is a bit of a wait now they have been featured on Bakery make over...its a little hidden treasure in Rutland.

Ordered through DoorDash cuz I was craving a good donut, so I got a bit of a variety for the weekend. Well, their croissants were a fail - they need better lamination and more flavour. They weren’t light & flaky like a croissant should be and there was a serious lack of filling. And the “gourmet” donut?? Looks like a child decorated it…there was nothing gourmet about them, and they looked nothing like advertised I understand that selection is going to vary each week, but I would expect them to at least be fancy like in the pictures. I’ll be getting my carb fix from Specialty Bakery from now on.

Grabbed an assortment of baked croissants and cruffins for our office and everyone enjoyed them! Will definitely be back!

It was Saturday donut day! Amazing donut creations ranging from carrot cake fantasy to lemon elderflower. Be early or call in your order. They go fast and when they're gone, that's it. They even have some great ketogenic creations.

The food was exceptional, however, I have to say I get put off when a restaurant isn't super clean. Their box storage room had a mess on the floor and the bathroom was pretty dirty. I hate to say this because the people are awesome, the food is good, the prices are also good. Location is good. It's one minor quibble, but for me it's definitely meaningful. I will go back for sure and I hope next time I can change my review to say how super clean it is. With that I would give it 5 stars for sure.

While I had heard not great things about this local bakery, I am disappointed that they hold true for my experience with them. When my sisters wedding was cancelled they begrudgingly gave her a credit to use in the future. When she called to place an order for her Baby Shower the owner/manager told her to come in the day of the event and pick out what she would like. Today, we were confronted with an exceptionally rude employee that refused to honour this agreement or even suggest an alternative. There was no lack of product or staff in the bakery and it appeared to be the employees unwillingness to be bothered with or honour a credit to which we provided in person evidence of. While we love to support our local community and small businesses, this one needs to do better.

Ordered some sandwiches for our office and couldn't resist getting some mini cheesecakes too! The sandwiches were hearty and so delicious. The croissants they were on were excellent. Highly recommend for lunch or anytime snack, can't wait to try more of their offerings!

I had heard great things about this company so I was really excited to finally have them prepare cupcakes for my sons 4th birthday in February. I'm not an expert at ordering cakes or cupcakes, so I didn't entirely know what to ask for. I called and was given some direction from the owner/manager who instructed me on their popular flavors and advised me to look online and then send an email. After some research I went with the chocolate cupcakes with cream filling and oreo buttercream icing, as the woman I spoke with advised on the oreo flavor being popular among kids. I provided 2 photos for them to use in decorating the cupcakes, one batman themed and one spiderman themed. Somewhere down the line the request for filled cupcakes was not heard so I ended up with plain cupcakes, but thats okay, it happens, things get lost in translation. What was truly disappointing was the final product. The cupcakes were super plain chocolate with what tasted like a blob of butter on top. The icing tasted nothing like oreos. On top of the blob of butter was a hockey puck worth of fondant that displayed the spiderman and batman logos that I had sent in. These cupcakes were not only gross but far from kid friendly for a 4 year old birthday. With all that said, next year I'll definitely save myself the $60 and bake his cake on my own. Most likely will not purchase from here again.
