Lots of unique options and tasty! Standard pricing, and seems like everyone loves it because it was busy when we went. Would visit again
*** Great variety, great prices, great service, and great portions, this place is a must on our way to Lions Park! And the on top - the tiny kiddie cones are complimentary for the toddlers! ***
We love this place when the owner is not working. Great ice cream and great customer service except for the owner. We love banana splits as they remind us of our childhood. We are literally afraid to order them when the owner is there. She has rolled her eyes at us and gets frustrated every time we order them. She walks away mid order because she gets overwhelmed that she has to cut the banana. Instead she could politely say “give me a minute to cut the banana and then I will take your flavour and topping order”. This is what the other employees do and it works great. When we arrive and see her there we almost want to avoid ordering the banana split to avoid the terrible experience. Why does she even put it on the menu if she despises making it so much.
Had a terrific day, and the cherry on the top was our visit to this spot. Great ice cream at a great price. Hilariously, they even insisted on giving a little cone to our puppy. Perfect stop for anyone taking in a day in Paris.
I keep telling people the only reason I bought a motorcycle was for more excuses to stop & get ice cream... And this is one of the places I frequent. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices ire totally reasonable, and the selection is like WOAH. I see no choice other than coming back until I've tried them all. 10/10 would recommend whole you stroll through downtown Paris.
Customer service wise and taste wise, worst ice cream experience ever. The soft serve ice cream was warm, and the owner was cold opposite of what you’d expect at an ice cream place. She chided my 5 year old niece for holding on to their ice cream card board for too long. That board was lying on the floor, so we picked to keep it back. The soft serve started dripping the moment we bought it. It would have been better had they mentioned that their machine isn’t working. I was overcharged for paying by debit card. I realized it on reaching home.
After a meal on Grand River St N, save the dessert treat at this ice cream store. If you choose to have the 2 scoops in a cup, you’d be surprised with the large size of the cup for only $4.
Location is easy to access and if you've never been there before it's a bit overwhelming. Too many flavors and there are no descriptions of the contents. When you ask the owner what they contain she seemed annoyed for asking for clarity on the contents of the flavor. Why it's a 2: - a Scoop size is average, $5/cone. - don't take cards :I wish they took cards because it's limiting to what cash you have on hand when everything is digital ex. Apple wallet. - quality -confusing flavors, by the time you go through all of them even at 1 second per flavor you're standing there for a minute - you feel rushed . Not really a good customer experience. Quality - more ice then cream. If you compare this to another small town ice cream/dairy shop ex. Kawartha dairy kawartha blows this out of the water. From the cream level to the ice cream, to the waffle cone quality. The cones here are more sugar cones and when they get wet turn almost cardboard. If they just cut down on the flavors, increase the price for better quality product it would make this spot way better.
So many flavours to choose from and the portion size is so good for the price. Definitely a must-have when in town.
Excellent icecream with a ton of choices. However the custoner service was terrible. I was taken aback. One staff member was super nice while the other older member slammed my drink was rude when taking the order and self tipped herself from my change. Who does that? Customers lined up for the business and I know i wasn't the only one mistreated.
