The food was excellent. The lady taking my order didn't toast my bagel but did add plenty of onion as requested. The place was very busy but I ended up with a good lunch. Would recommend it if in the area.
What an awesome restaurant. The food is fresh and reminds us of our childhood. Nice Mediterranean food and good service. If you’re looking for breakfast WHAT A BAGEL IS YOUR SPOT!!!
Fresh baked bagels for purchase. Restaurant brand cream cheese. Sugar-free cookies and lots more on the bakery side. Delicious food! Clean washroom. Very friendly waiter but didn't like that he was hugging the coffee carafe to his chest and his hair was unkempt. One blind couldn't be brought down all the was so the sun was hot on the skin. Overall, it's a lovely place to have lunch or breakfast!
Great place to go for breakfast. My husband and I go often as it's nice to get a delicious meal. As soon as you walk in, the smell of fresh baked bread hits you and it's delicious. You choose your bagel, then choose your topping and your bagel is freshly made with your choice of toppings. The desserts are amazing. The chocolate croissants are soft and moist. Highly recommend anyone that is looking for a delicious breakfast to visit.
The worse service ever, come it to grab something to eat. Got the danish, stand by the cash register for 5 minutes waiting while all 4 lady standing and chat, ignoring their customer. The attitude was like she is about to attack someone, very rude.
My experience at this store has always been positive. Great selection and great food. I placed an order on the Too Good to Go App and when I went to pick up the food, the store was closed. I'm not sure whether this was an error on the store's part or the app. It was a forty minute round trip! Aside from this experience, the store is wonderful
I came here with my girlfriend for a nice quick brunch on Sunday morning. We were greeted by very kind a generous customer that had given us 2 of her bagels for free because she didn’t want them. We kindly accepted but one of the ladies making the bagel was angry at us. The older lady with black hair was insisting that we pay for the bagels even though the lady in-front already did and we kindly agreed. But she still kept being overly rude for no reason, was pointing at us in-front of everyone, she had a very rude demeanour and then dropped both of our bagels on the ground. My family had been coming to the bagel joint for decades and this is by far my worst experience.
Very disappointed in how this place treats customers. I come to this place a lot and my family and friends come here frequently too as we live nearby and this place is on my way to/from work. However today I received very disappointing service. I bought a bagel and coffee and I had some time before my next appointment, so I went inside the cafe and sat at one of the tables so I could eat my lunch. The cafe was empty, only one other table was taken. As soon as I sat down a lady came to me and told me that I couldn’t eat there as the tables belong to the restaurant. I said that I bought this coffee and bagel in this place so I just wanted to quickly eat it here. She said no, you bought this from the takeout section, not restaurant section, so you have to pick up your take out order and leave. I really didn’t understand why she was going through the trouble to make me leave as I bought the food from this establishment and the restaurant was empty, so I was not holding people in line or anything like that. So I left, but I still cannot understand why that woman made me leave and what trouble that would give her if I ate my food there for 10 minutes. Obviously I will pass on this place from now on.
The food was absolutely not something that should have been brought out, never mind charged for. I had salmon Benedict, salmon was cooked as was the sauce dry and dark and over cooked eggs. Seemed like it was left far too long under the light. When I mentioned it to the waiter, I was told that's the normal way. I frequently visit Bathurst and Rutherford as well as New Westminster and Bathurst. Never had i had them that way at any of these locations.
Too bad I did not read reviews before we visited the place yesterday. My wife and I wanted to grab a cup of coffee with bagel. We asked if we could sit in. The lady behind the counter was unfriendly and unhappy but she agreed. After that we bough the food and immediately after we sat down we were asked to leave by the staff in the dining room. The whole conversation was extremely rude. Eventually they agreed to let us stay after us speaking to the lady at the counter. As we sat down again the same staff purposely started sweeping floor around our table and moving furniture showing hostility toward us. We ended up asking for refund as we did not have a chance to even open the food. As a final straw, the lady tried to overcharge us and literally said that we are not welcome to come back. We will definitely avoid this location in the future.
