A year ago, I would have laughed and rolled my eyes at someone if they told me that their dog was in daycare. When we got our pup, we realized quickly that she is way more energy than our older dogs can tolerate. I am now a total advocate of Doggie Daycare. I anticipated that our pup would come home well exercised and we would get a break to focus on work but it's also helped with socialization, manners, and separation anxiety. She's much better on our walks, around the house, and with other dogs. The staff there really adore dogs. I love peaking in on the live webcams to see how they are doing and seeing the Instagram posts and stories. Our pup loves going there... I can't get the leash off of her fast enough when we arrive. They also have cute events for holidays and birthdays. Last of all, I like that it's an all in one shop. I can schedule to have her groomed, give her a quick bath myself, board her, and buy her favorite treats all as part of her day. The weekend dog parks with beer has got to be a great perk as well that I haven't tried yet.
Our dog had his first visit today. He LOVED IT! They filled out a report card and even sent pictures of our little guy playing with new friends. We are boarding him over the holidays and I couldn’t be more at ease with where he will be staying and how much fun he will have while we are away!
Brought our dog here for grooming and for his first day of daycare. We were able to see how he was doing from the live camera of the play area and also got a report card of his behavior assessment along with his pictures. The staffs are friendly and we’re very responsive to all our questions. It was a positive experience and will definitely bring him back here again!
I love Wet Noses Dry Paws in Gig Harbor. I have tried other daycare options that are closer to me but I don't trust them. I can only trust WNDP with my doggo. She comes home happy, tired, and clean. They also give you report cards and allow you to check in on them with video which is an anxiety ridden dog mom's dream. The best part is that they love my Wendy as much as I do. <3
Both my pups love it here—and let me know by ‘talking’ when we’re close by~~and I love it too—the staff answers all questions, even sends pics via text, interacts with pups with snuffle treat games, etc—I can relax knowing they’re well taken care of-plus I can see them on the webcam. AND I get a verbal report each day at pick up as to how they did. Thank you, Wet Noses. Pic below is of them playing at daycare!
My dog is 2 years old, never been to day care before, but she looks happy when she come here, and this is the only daycare that she’s happy when she come. The staffs here are amazing, they are professional but also take time to explain the steps for our first day. By far this place have a best method to the ease my dog into daycare. I really appreciate that effort. If you have a high energy hyper dog, definitely go here, they know what to do.
Check out Rescue Accountability Project and wetnoses.behindthescenes on Instagram for more info regarding abuse and neglect here Ironically Mackenzie, not only have I been inside, I have a picture taken inside. Nasty hole in the wall, just like the usual conditions at WNDP. Claiming false claims about if I’ve been there or not DOESN’T look good. We both know I have. This photo was taken on a day that you trusted me to bathe a rescue, completely on my own. Without any knowledge of me, or the dog.
I took my two large dogs for their first visit and everything was wonderful! The set-up was very accommodating to have multiple people it the reception area and the staff was great answering all my questions! They even provided pictures and a report card of the how both my dogs were acclimating and doing at daycare providing feedback in a professional and kind manner! Over all wonderful staff and very accommodating.
