Westwood Motel

We stayed here on our way through Manitoba and what a pleasant stay it was! The rooms are nice, beds are very comfy, and some of the rooms have a balcony and walkway overlooking the pool. The pool was a great treat! The water was spacious and warm and the water slide is fast. There is no continental breakfast at the moment, however the restaurant offers affordable meals, and Tim Hortons is just down the street. Would recommend as a top place to stay in Swan River!

Chose to stay here based on reviews but reviews are subjective and i find alot of people must have low standards for i just dont agree after staying here. Here is my experience. Extremely poor wifi, constantly disconnected from wifi. Garbage. Hotel is dirty, hallways are not clean. Room has very poor detail to cleanliness as the entertainment table is covered in dust and grime. Tv is grimy. Just overall not impressed. The bathroom however felt clean, probably because it was renovated. Beds are too soft but if that's your thing, you'll sleep comfy i suppose. Hard to find a decent place to stay in swan river so choice your poison.

Older hotel that could benefit from further renovations. Not the cleanest hotel. The restaurant is in desperate need of someone to run it with regular hours that include breakfast, lunch and supper. Not rating the food in this review. Bar is very dated and in need of a lot of work.

My son and grandchildren n I had the time of our life they swam in the pool for hours but the clorine was really strong when we sat by the pool, my son and grandson got sick from the smell of the clorine it was strongRooms: 5/5

Rooms were dirty, had used bathmats in the bathroom. Hot tub is the only good thing about this place.

I was dreading my stay in SR. Not much of a country person. However, the Westwood was fantastic! Very clean and comfy beds. Bathrooms great too. Other than the screaming pool guests who arrived at 6 pm and we had to switch rooms, it was great. Good staff, highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5

I was coming through Swan River on Friday March 4 2022. The roads were bad and because I needed a 36hr reset I decided to find a place to stay in Swan River for Saturday night. The first place I called didn't allow dogs. I don't like staying at super 8 as most are very dumpy so I called Westwood Inn. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant. I explained to her that I was looking for a room for the night. I had my dog and was hoping that it would have a place near by I could park my truck and super b trailers fully loaded. She said that they are very busy but did have 1 room coming available around 2om. She told me that they are very pet friendly with no pet fee which was great because the amount some places charge for a pet fee now makes me think that they replace the carpet, paint the walls and put a new bed in after every animal. She also said I could park my truck in the hotels lot parallel to the highway which was the best news I have had in days. I asked if she could give me a call if the room became available earlier and to my surprise she called me about an HR later to let me know the room was available. Loki and I arrived and I was able to park right where she said I could. The check in process was quick and easy. When we got to the room I was very happy with it. Not to big or to small. Very clean and trust me if there is something for my dog to find he will find it.The bed was comfy and furniture adequate for the room. I ordered food from the restaurant and because they had a hockey team in the hotel for the weekend it took a little longer but was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone coming through or staying for a while.

Rooms were great nice and clean but the service at the restaurant wasn't good, we ordered our food and it took just over 2 hours to get it

so we went to the restaurant and ordered supper. 2 hours for our meals. nothing fancy. hows it take 2 hours for a pizza. not impressedRooms: 4/5
