Westwood Arena in Etobicoke is a great place for anyone involved in hockey or skating. The facility is spacious, well-maintained, and has a lively atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. Staff are friendly and keep things running smoothly, whether it’s public skate, practices, or games. The rinks are clean, the ice quality is solid, and everything feels organized. A dependable spot for families, players, and anyone who loves spending time at the rink.
I like the place. Perfect to enjoy a good game! Something that I highlight is the cool spaces box for the videographers and the commentators. The rink is quite big and there’s plenty parking spots. You can find a coffee and snack spot and a restaurant.
same as chesswood, soft ice, parking a nightmare, ding dong staff, no wifi to stream games, pro shop always closes early
Some rinks are tucked away but the arena has lots of amenities like a restaurant and multiple workout facilities above the rinks.
Such rude old ladies in there. So rude to the kids, not the place to work at if you’re consistently irritated with small kids. Grabbing things out of their hands and just overall disrespect the kids were not being rude or disrespectful to anyone in the restaurant maybe they were just sick of hockey kids at that point but terrible experience. We’re at that arena often and keep trying to give it chances and it’s always the same. Avoid at all costs. Vibe killers.
