Westmount Animal Clinic provides a variety of medical services for your pet, including examinations, vaccinations, spay and neutering, dental care, surgery, laser surgery, laser therapy and diagnostic imaging. We also provide on-site grooming services for cats, as well as short term boarding, daycare and puppy socialization for cats and dogs.

The field of veterinary medicine has evolved significantly over the last few decades and has been exposed to many of the same technological advances used in the field of human medicine. Two such relatively new technologies are Laser Surgery and Laser Therapy. At Westmount, we have been offering these progressive new options to our clients since 2005 with tremendous results. Laser surgery is our primary surgical method for safe and comfortable treatment while laser therapy provides a safe, non-invasive and effective treatment to increase mobility, wound healing and post-surgery rehabilitation.

Westmount Animal Clinic is always quick to get my dog in when I need her to be seen by a vet. Everyone I have dealt with is incredibly friendly and it's nice to be able to see how much they all love animals and what they do. Some of them even remember Winnie each time we come back! And they do all they can to make her feel safe and comfortable at the clinic.
You guys are the best clinic I’ve ever been to hands down. I’ve sent all my girlfriends to you in the area; they love you guys as well. Josh - I’m always excited to sit and chit chat with you even though I’m probably annoying and disruptive to your work lol, but you always make for a great experience and I love that you guys show so much love for my babies. Dr. Bert, you’re an angel who’s gone above and beyond for our family! The girls/techs are always so good to us, thank you for all being so fab. A few people have recommended Westmount to me after adopting my puppy and I am very glad I went in! The staff are friendly & helpful both on the phone/email and in person when visiting. The clinic manager even made a point to pop into the waiting room I was in to introduce herself knowing I was a new customer- this has never happened to me in any vet clinic I've visited and I've owned/fostered dogs for 16 years! The prices are reasonable- considering they are a downtown Calgary clinic. Dr. Kyle Hager was the vet we saw and actually listened to me rant about everything I have done for separation anxiety with my puppy and gave me proper feedback and a couple other options to try, Mackenzie the manager had also offered to reach out to a couple behavioral specialists to put me in touch with as well. This was a night & day difference compared to the previous vet we had saw regarding this and I couldn't have been happier leaving the clinic. Would highly recommend this clinic!
Such a great clinic! We have brought our dog in a few times and are always impressed with the care she is given. Josh at the front desk and the staff giving us her medications are all so kind and welcoming. We've seen both Dr. Kyle Hager and Dr. Jeff Dand and both took the time to listen to our concerns and answer our million questions without ever making us feel rushed. We always feel like our dog is given the best attention and like the vets and staff truly care about her too. Thanks so much :
Amazing staff ! They went above and beyond from my first phone call making the appointment to checking out.. My cat Diego is usually sooo good with people but like most animals I’m sure the doctors make him nervous and even though he was growling away they still made him feel comfortable. They had to give him a shot and some antibiotics and we were literally in and out in 30 mins not feeling rushed in any mean! Found our new clinic for sure! Location was easy to find and lots of parking as well
The front desk staff are wonderful, as are the veterinarians and techs. We have received thorough, compassionate care for our cats at this clinic. Accessing the parking lot can be tricky during rush hour so give yourself a few extra minutes.
My dog has been going to the Westmount Animal clinic for about a year now. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. Recently my dog had an ear infection and they went above and beyond to show me how to clean her ear properly as well as follow up with me after the appointment. I would recommend this clinic.
Our happy Maggie has been wonderfully kept healthy by the Doctors and staff at Westmount Animal Clinic. She is now over 16 years old and been such a happy addition to our family. Thanks to all the loving group at Westmount!
Taking your pet to the vet sucks, but the team at Westmount make it suck a lot less. Dr. Bertamini is responsive to both pet and owner needs and preferences, and I've never felt pressured to buy a product or do a procedure I wasn't sure about. Vet techs and reception staff are all super kind and knowledgable. 10/10, truly.
Staff were wonderful, warm, and patient. Chloe my fur baby was taken care off during her first visit. Will be bringing her brother for check up with them soon
