Westmark Inn Dawson

Very nice hotel with a good restaurant. Rooms are good size with spacious bathrooms. Rooms are air conditioned at least in Gertie's wing. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Hotel and room where nice, but lack things like a fridge and WiFi. Only WiFi is in the lobby and is not very good.

Rooms were fine but avoid Belinda's breakfast buffet like the plague! Buffet chooses at 0930 so we thought we were alright 10 minutes before. No scramled eggs left, the tiny bits of one left were done cold, 2 hash browns, 2 bits of really sad looking sausage which had obviously been cooked at least an hour before, etc. They were still selling this buffet that the cooks had obviously stored replenishing a half hour or more before. $40 wasted! Reserved my complaints to take up with the hotel manager on check out and received a sympathetic but useless response. She simply said that it was a different hotel department and she couldn't do anything. Paid the bill and left with the entire experience tainted!

Had a great time. Staff very friendly. Shuttle driver excellent.

We stayed 2 nights in Dawson Westmark the hotel is a nice throw back from older days but clean and nice, the town is small and food was a bit pricey
