Smaller park located adjacent to the town square. Highlights the memory of General Shepard and his role in the Revolution. Can't really see the park too well from the roads and there are no benches on site. There's also a bit of history behind the statue itself. The original sword in which the general is holding was stolen 1980 by a man after a dare from his friends. After nearly 4 decades, the Westfield Historical Commission regained possession of the sword after the man returned it out of remorse.
Nice, downtown park with the statue of General Shepard telling local history, and having beautiful surroundings.
