In the heart of the East Kootenay lies Western Financial Place, a multi-purpose recreational facility highlighted by a 4268 stadium seating NHL size arena and an aquatics centre. To be honest I can't give the best review as I haven't used a lot of the things it has to offer. However, my grandson loved the pool and my youngest grandson is in love with the playground outside. It is very nice, the ground is soft rubber and the exercise equipment is a hit for everyone! Their are a lot of benches and shady areas with the skate park a stone's throw away.
The Western Financial Place is 4,268- seat arena plus 352 standing rooms and an aquatic Centre.nIt was formerly known as Cranbrook Recreational Complex which is located in East Kootney Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada .nnThe arena is a Standardized National Hockey League Size rank at 200 feet long and 85 feet wide,which I find very fascinating, having to sit and watch the players.nnI find indoor pool pretty cool since you wouldn’t have to deal with burns of the sun in your skin.nI love the space in here , looks like a hideout.nThe pool is so clean, You could literally smell the chlorine immediately after entering the pool ‍ area. There is a place to sit incase you want to eat or drink something Outside the pool ‍ area.
Fun place to pass sometime, kids love the wave pool I like the hot tub
This was definitely a nice building to play a minor hockey game in. It is too bad there is no longer a WHL team here.
It was a nice building. We were there for rock the kootenays from aug 9-11
