A really good place to enjoy some history! Boom Town is great, there’s lots to see & learn, and it’s all very interesting. I like that it’s not just a museum, they host other events/exhibits as well, like that science thing I went to & the history of video games! Love seeing all the old cars too, & the model trains!

Love it, we come often. Always friendly staff, clean and the kids never get tired of walking the streets and learning about all the history. And the restaurant is absolutely fantastic great food, awesome staff. Always a positive experience!

Great place with interesting exhibits and stories. It's also available for events and their catering staff make good food and have a nice hall to host out of.
The main Street makes a beautiful backdrop.

The wdm is an awesome look into Saskatchewan's past. They have a super cool town set up inside the building with a blacksmith shop, barber's, laundry, prison and so much more. One part of the museum is dedicated to old cars that volunteers have refurbished and worked on. There are also tractors that were used in the early days of machine farming.

Western Development Museum is a large place showcasing Trains, older automobiles and technology, and some creepy animatronics. They have people that do blacksmithing, who can take old school dress up photos and a cafe.
There are varied and interesting events that are put on throughout the year. One such event is the festival of trees where Christmas trees and gingerbread houses are impressively decorated with various themes and are used to raised money for charity. Price of entry was $10 and they have an extensive gift shop. I recommend checking it out throughout the year.
