Always a great poke bowl here with super fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the build your own bowl so you can choose all your toppings and their delicious sauces.
Very fresh and delicious Hawaiian poke bowls. The staff are very friendly and scoop a generous amount of each product. The store is also very cute! I would recommend the cascade :
This is my usual poke place but lately I have just been so disappointed with their quality of food. Typically, I am not the type of person to complain, but my recent experiences have been atrocious. The first bad experience was this one time I ordered through uber eats. I always get the same BYOB, with edamame and jalapeños. I was so excited to eat my bowl, and realized that they have messed up my toppings and they added tobiko. Personally, not a big deal to me. It would be for other customers if they happened to be allergic to something and it was accidentally added to their bowl. I brushed it off and as I continued to eat, I found the bowl to be extremely spicy. I consider for me to have a high spice tolerance, but I started picking out all the jalapeños in my bowl and put them aside. As I was doing that, there was a tremendous amount of jalapeños, that it created a huge pile on my napkin. It was so spicy, it almost made it unenjoyable to eat. But what really tied it together was that there was a grass-like flavour in my bowl. It was the edamame. I'm not sure if it was old but it definitely was not tasting like how it was supposed to. In fact, the grass-like flavour was so empowering, I ended up throwing my bowl away out of disgust. Super disappointed from that experience but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and order from them again. Mind you, this is about a week after the previous incident. My friends and I decided to get poke for our lunch break. Service was good per usual, the portions for everything was meh. We ate back at work. All was good until I found a staple from my bowl shown in the photo below. It was hidden in the rice and I noticed it when it was ALREADY IN MY MOUTH and had to pull it out of my mouth. I was at work and did not think it was worth my time going back to complain. I was contemplating if I should even continue to eat it but I ended up having to throw away another bowl, yet again. I'm super disappointed, this is usually my favourite poke place in Richmond.
The poke here is really really good. The bowls are tasty and fresh. There seems to be no quality control as to what is given to customers when picking up online orders. Last week I ordered 4 bowls. When picking them the 2 BYOB were exactly as ordered. The Smoke bowl was missing some things but the worst was the Pacific bowl. It had spicy tuna, spicy crab salad, jalapenos and radish. When my husband returned to get them to remake it the employee wanted to argue with him about the ingredients in a Pacific bowl. It turned out the employee had no real idea what was in this bowl which is probably why it was wrong in the first place. I'd suggest coming to the restaurant and ordering cause then you can watch them make it. This is the second time I've had problems with pick-up a couple of months ago they only gave me half my order. Good poke. Terrible for online takeout
Pretty good poke. Fresh. Lots of available toppings and sauces. The maple soy is nice. Vibrant. Nice they have tables outside the store to dine outside. They also have 10 dollar daily poke specials. What I liked about them was the pea shoot topping particularly yummy. The fish was okay but I've had higher quality fish at other poke places.
I have been here many times. The food was really good UNTIL TODAY. I ordered two Coast with green salad. It was ROTTEN SALAD. Very disappointed.
Clean minimalistic poke place in Ironwood Plaza in Richmond. Plenty of parking, and they're only offering take-out and delivery at the moment. Patient and friendly staff, that they take the time to explain the menu to you. Very generous portions especially with the avocado. Lots of toppings to choose from. For example, crab salad and seaweed salad had a spicy and non-spicy option, which was my first time experiencing that on a poke menu personally. My order: Coast: my favourite of the 2 bowls I ordered - it's super saucy burnt miso chili oil & garlic aioli sauce. The highlight was the fresh Atlantic salmon, and I really enjoyed the mangoes. The sweetness from the mangoes really ties the bowl together very nicely with an extra layer of flavour. Aloha: Ahi tuna in a lighter shoyu sauce, with seaweed salad & avocado. They also offer custom bowls, and currently have a rotation of "Poke of the Day", which is $10/bowl from their Signature selection not sure how long this promo lasts though.
My go to poke place on Sundays! All day specials;. Fresh ingredients and good price and portions!!
I normally don't complain! I'm a frequent customer of the place, but I just ordered through Uber Eats and my dynamite bowl came without half of what's normal, without crab salad, ginger, asked for brown rice and they put white. Came only with jalapenos and cucumber. A little bit disappointed.
Yammy poke! But the employee didn’t know what she has to put on my poke. Must be new staff. Not enough education how to make poke. Sashimi was weighed and it was ok. but she put so tiny scoop of toppings on my medium bowl. Pinch of seaweed, just one scoop of cucumber…. I requested her more toppings and she did put a little bit more.. and she closed the lid without asking any dry last toppings. I asked her bit of nori but she put masago…. I didn’t want to point ever single ingredient which I wamt to bc add. I received a small amount on my medium bowl. Bit disappointed but food was fresh.
