Great play structure and park for kids plus fields for running around

We walked in 15 mins before closing and the 2 ladies got our kids in for haircuts. They were fast and efficient and super good with the kids. Thank you!

One of the best playgrounds in the city! The wading pool is a definite plus for hot days.

Honestly, we thought we would have to go to Kanata for thr large park experience, with such inclusive activities including different play areas, tobbogan hill, pool, one large structure that is for all age groups, the tore swing safely out of the way from the other activities. Two swing sets adjacent to eachogher for safety as well kust makes it so much better! They have multiple options for the baby swing, including the see saw one where the adult can sit infront! Big kid awings with the strap in swing as well. Not to mention the AMAZING section behind the playstructure that is an obstacle course any child would be willing to try pueces of, and many the whole thing! Everything there works, is durable, and sturdy! They also have this donut shaped structure, with climbing holes all around it and it warps and twists as it goes round! The ice rink is HUGE, and the field is twice the rink size! Little fences here and there keep it organized and help set limits and boundaries for children i.e stay where I can see you providing them with the freedom and chance to have independant play and learn responsibility! Parking is plenty as well! It is directly infront of the park. No walking, no way could ypu ever lose sight of a child either.

Great park for kids of all ages and on every season! Extensive and safe play structure for young kids and skateboard park for older. Shallow waiting pool and tennis court in summer time and sledding and skating in winter. Year round fun for the family!

Great park, large play structure, climbing apparatuses, tennis courts, wading pool. In winter a nice small toboggan hill, hockey rink and large skating area. Large free parking lot. O nice days it will be filled with kids, particularly in summer and on PD days.

Park playground had easy to climb stairs leading to slides, starting to see a trend in parks where the stairs are complicated to climb with risky gaps in the steps to fall through etc.. Big field to run in and more.

This park is great, however there is no access to washrooms. The Dovercourt Recreation Center will not allow you inside to use the washroom even though the they are open for summer camps. I brought my seven year old granddaughter to the park, and asked one of the supervisors to escort us to the washroom and they refused. As well, they were very rude and disrespectful.

Great park for kids!

This place has everything a playstructure needs. Its also a great place to visit with kids. There is a family pool, three playstructures baby and child, and a set of swings. The main playstructure has those things were you hold on to a handle and swing across, an alphabet/sign language learning station, a mini piano however it didn't work when i used it, and much more. On top of that the other structure is more of an obstacle course one, and the baby structure is like a little house. 5 stars
