I have never taken the opportunity to take a little dip here at Westboro Beach. It does look like a nice little hang out for sure besides the scenery surrounding the beach is very nice. One of these summers I will finally go for a swim there.
This place is beautiful to watch the sunset, have a quick swim or come with your family or friends. Its busy in summer & peaceful + quiet mist other times. People love to bring their dogs.
Very nice place. There’s a unique trail that you can enjoy the river from a side and the city on the other side. In fall you’ll see beautiful views too. In summer the beach is awesome if you want to enjoy the sun while swimming! Highly recommended
The beach was great, nice sand, great ambience but the only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because i found the swimming area and beach a bit small. Otherwise comfortable with option of shade by the tree.
Small but perfect, little hiking paths along the water. Was my first time there and with the sunset and rain it was memorable.
Always a great place to relax and hang with friends. At a distance of course.
A very small strip of beach, and just a tiny area demarcated for swimming. Good place to see the sunset. There's also a cafe with live music here.
Nestled nicely below street level of the Ottawa River Parkway, with music playing, sitting on the patio, or on the sand, you look out at the water and quickly forget that you're still in the city. That alone is reason enough to visit Westboro and lose yourself in the tropical feel of this place.
The beach was so pleasant. To have a beach in the center of a large city is just a treat. People were very considerate of distancing and considerate.
