This is our first time with Westar and is very impressive from the professional team work done by tour guys and drivers . Our second day with Lisa to Jasper , entire trip was arranged very well step by step and she uses English and Chinese explained everything so clear and dedicated. She went through every attraction together with us , provided additional info about local food and restaurants, shared her experience and story during the tour. Driver Joe is a surprise and he did share stories during the bus break time that made us feel very the team is very well cooperative and well behave. I would recommend Westar Travel to my friends .

I had Lisatour guide and Joedriver on the first day, they were both so nice and professional. Lisa told us countless stories about things we saw out of the window on our way to Banff, and she is extremely effective when arranging our activities! Then I had Simon for the last two days, and he is so good as well. He introduced us every scenery and always ask us if we need him to take photos of our family. Both of the tour guides are really helpful and welcoming, so this was a great trip!!

Our family visited Banff and Jasper. We had Lisa as our tour guide, and Joe as our driver. They were both extremely welcoming, warm, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. They always had the answers to our questions and made us feel safe - especially with the recent unfortunate Jasper wild fires and power outage in the area. The scenery/landscapes were spectacular and overall was a beautiful experience!

Michael was our tour leader. He was great. He spoke in three different languages. Helped us in many ways. He had a great knowledge of the city, all the mountains and the stories behind them. We visited almost all the main tourist attractions in Banff in 12 hrs. I highly recommend Westar and also Michael.

Simon was very friendly and polite! He was also very knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting and about what was filmed or currently being filmed in calgary and the surrounding areas which was very interesting to know. He was great at pointing out wildlife, half the time I don't think I would have seen it without him mentioning them. It was an awesome tour would 100% go again!

Touring to Jasper national park was amazing with Guide Ray and driver Larry. Ray is a very experienced traveler and guide who always share his own travelling tips with us. Following the scheduled itinerary, he led us to the best point of view so we have those fantastic pics. Shout out to Ray for helping us take photos of our families!!! Thanks for Larry who make sure our safety while we were transported in viechle!!

It was a super exciting tour. Loved every moment of it. Special thanks to our tour guides and drivers Lisa ,Larry and Curtis. Thanks to Curtis that we made it in good time to catch our return flight out of Calgary despite a very busy schedule. A five star experience.

Lisa and Michael both are my guides for my trip. Lisa is my guide for Jesper and she is really responsible and responsive, she walks the extra mile for helping me to know the area better. Michael is my guide for Banff and he is very accommodating. They both help me to experience the area and be filled with joy. I really like Robert and Joe for their driving too. I love Robert’s jokes, they are super fun!

12hr day-trip from Calgary to Banff - Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, Emerald Lake, and Yoho National Park Natural Bridge: Westar provides a tour filled with beautiful scenery. Tour members receive a text message confirmation the night before the tour, with meet up spot/time information. All of the sights scheduled in the tour were breath-taking and most are a must-see while in the area. Lake Louise & Lake Moraine are the highlights, with Emerald Lake and the Yoho National Park Natural Bridge falling slightly flat in comparison, although still beautiful. The tour allows easy access into all parks with no line waiting or extra payment needed. Option to add a gondola ride to see Lake Louise from atop and lunch is provided at an extra cost did not participate. The bus itself is comfortable, includes air conditioning, and wifi spotty is available. The bus driver was confident and riders felt secure throughout the day. The tour provides you with a busy day seeing beautiful sights, and many beautiful photo opportunities. While the scenery was stunning, the tour itself left some room for improvement. The booking process was slightly unsettling as the online purchasing system did not provide any proof of purchase a call to the company explained that after a purchase a manual input into the system is needed, after which a proof of purchase will be emailed out. Confirmation did arrive, yet waiting for it was a bit unnerving as the website leaves room for some doubts. Once on the tour, much of the drive into Banff was simply that, a drive, with no community-building between the tour members/tour guide, or information being shared about the sights along the way to the main sights ex. The 1988 Olympics ski park, history about Calgary/the surrounding land, weather, animals, etc.. Information was shared once arriving to the mountains and main sights, although not in extreme detail. As Westar offers bilingual tours only, all of the information was repeated twice using the two languages. The tour guide was bilingual, although some of the English explanations were difficult to understand due to a fairly strong accent. Once at the main sights, guests were given time to explore on their own no tour given here. After visiting Lake Louise the tour visited the Banff ski hill for lunch & gondola opportunities. This was the longest stop on the tour, and tour members who did not participate in the gondola excursion had the option to play provided lawn games after grabbing lunch no sight-seeing opportunities here without the gondola addition. Giving these individuals the option to stay at Lake Louise for a longer period of time while others enjoy the gondola experience may have allowed for a better experience for these individuals. Other things to note - as stated in the ticket a $10/per person tip is mandatory kids as well, and it was suggested to us to avoid the use of the bus bathroom, for scent reasons there were many bathroom opportunities along the way. Overall, the Westar 12hr Calgary-Banff tour is enjoyable and provides a good “crash course” introduction to the Banff area, at a reasonable price $100/per person. It removes the worry about driving/lines/parking while seeing some beautiful sights of Western Canada.
