Stayed there a lot.  Rooms are decent for the price.  It's not a new motel but the lobby has been nicely renovated and the hot tub room is quite nice.  Parking is convenient.  Some amenities close by.  It's in my top 2 first choices for accommodations in Vegreville based on good value for the price.

Very nice, clean, quiet. I stay here from time to time when   I need to stay overnight. Dan is great and his team.

I didn't stay here, so I cannot comment on the room, however the customer service is not good.  I called and made a reservation with the owner, but cancelled apx 30min later, which was still before the 48hr cancellation limit.  His understanding of English is troublesome which I suspect has added to my problem.  I was called at midnight on the night of which was supposed to be the first night of my original booking to be asked where I was.  I explained that I had cancelled the booking.  I was informed that, not only had I not cancelled, but that I would be charged for one night.  I disagreed and repeated that I had called minutes after I had made the original booking.  The owner immediately started yelling at me and calling me a liar and that I would need to have proof.  Well, luckily I have proof because I just requested my phone records.  It's seems pretty shady to me, considering he called me by name when I phoned back to cancel and he told me "No problem!"  But as he has my credit card number, I feel he tried to fraudulently charge me, hoping I wouldn't go after it.  This is unacceptable and I wouldn't recommend staying here even if the price is good and the rooms are clean.

We stayed at West-view overnight while driving back to the U.S. from Alaska. The cottage was so delightful, fresh and clean. Mr. Daniel  (management) and family were so friendly and made sure we knew what to see in their town before getting back on the highway. If in that area again I will definitely stay there.
