Really dont want to say this but what a amazing and clean park!! Want to keep it all to myself!! Great price to!! Nice big fishing lake. The place is just immaculate! Unfortunately just stayed 1 night due to the wife and I are heading home from key west.
Beautiful and spacious campsites! Almost every site has a water view. You can enjoy swimming, boating and fishing along with camping. This is one of our favorite campgrounds!
This is my first time coming here came from Montgomery. It's a really beautiful place to come. I had a campsite that was right on a sandy beach! The shower houses could use some updating but are still functional. I'll be back for sure!
Great park. Loved being so close to the water. Only wished we had more time to spend in the park . Really nice overnight stay .
The lake was beautiful. The camp guests were some.of the loudest people that partied until 2 am. Restrooms needed remodeling. Campsite was by the lake and great.
R. Shaefer Heard is a great place to camp and enjoy the water. This isn't the only campground on West Point though. Remember to check out the lakes water level when booking sites. Some sites have nice access to the water but others have steep drop offs.
We love this place. We have been many times and will go back many times. The spots are super big and most right on the water. If you like the water and going in a group then this is a great place. Love it!
