This place was gross. I only stayed here because the other hotels were booked. It is disgustingly smelly- strong smells of smoke and pot throughout the hallways and in my room. It was so bad that even opening the window didn't help. There's not much staffing nor amenities. It was just really dirty, old, and smelly. The walls were paper thin so I could hear the conversations of the neighbouring rooms. A very uncomfortable and unenjoyable experience. I got no sleep and dreaded coming to the room.nLobby staff did their best.
Here right now. Second time here. Like the new lobby it’s nice and bright. Front desk agent terrible. No hello no welcome. Just “give me your id” no eye contact no welcome. My wife mentioned too she didn’t say a word when my family walked in. Just stare. Then leaned on the back counter with her arms crossed with a snare on her face. Rooms are clean. Good location. Good deal for swimming. Seems like this hotel is just for the mall to make extra money not for any type of hospitality. Better have some self check in kiosks would be better.
Sounds attractive as when booking it says 2 waterpark passes for free and 50% off for additional admission. Turn out full paid for the other 2 tickets for kids on bill!! Very unreasonable!nnBesides, we booked there for our anniversary for 2 days and was told by both hotline and lobby staffs that they will offer us something complimentary. Despite reminding a couple of times to lobby staffs, we got nothing!!nnThe room was smelly and old.....nLooks really like a scam!
This trip is not at all what we had expected, we were told that the hotel was inside the mall. the rooms were dry, it felt like we were all sick and the beds weren’t comfortable at all. They have a tv down at the lobby which said that the hotel came with 50% off tickets to galaxyland and once we asked if we could get some, they told us that we weren’t eligible for them because of how we booked our trip. Definitely wouldn’t come here again.
The hotel served our needs well, offering a convenient and affordable place to stay while visiting WEM. We appreciated that the lobby and rooms have been or are in the process of being updated, though we’d suggest the website photos be updated to reflected of the new look.nnThe included breakfast was a nice touch, though it would have been great to have more protein options available, as it was mainly carbs and sugar. Although I don't believe the hotel was at full capacity, the breakfast area was quite crowded, so additional seating would be beneficial.nnOne downside was the check-in process was very slow. There was only one staff member at the front desk during the busiest check-in time, which caused delays.nnOverall, we would return to this hotel.
