Went there on 3rd Dec with friends & fam and it was a magical delight just as the name suggests. Despite the chilly weather, we all enjoyed taking photos of the pit stop. It has a good place to catch up for a group photo. We also enjoyed hot chocolate and fries from beaver tail. Owing to the chilly weather we were lucky to enjoy seamless no long waits drive through the the magical land. Interestingly, the Nativity story was narrated in different scenes. I was so happy that they didn't lose the reason for the season/ since I was just expecting a kids show/ toy characters since that's all that's featured in the ads. I loved driving through the different sections but my most memorable ones were the Nativity story, the snow flakes and the 12 days of Christmas. The kids were delighted by the different cartoon characters and dinosaurs. Definitely recommend it as a family show for all. All the staff were helpful and kind.
I was there for the magic of lights displaying. It was amazing and it worth the money. $20 for online, $35 for booking there and $40 for weekends. I love it, it was beautiful and I heard this year they added more lights than last year. It’s beautiful and not crowded if you choose to go during weekdays, I wish I could post the videos, the photos can’t do the justice.
Tonight, my daughter and I along with son in law and 3 grand daughters had an absolutely magical experience here. It was my first time but definitely not my last. I would recommend this experience %. I applaud every one who helped put this together Thank you for your hard work Happy Holidays
Wonderful light show! Amazing idea with great execution. A must-go place for everyone and especially for the family with kids. Enjoyable experience!!
We decided at the last minute to book tickets online to the hunter jumper equestrian tournament. It was amazing to see the jumping up close. The chicken wraps were great too! Bring water, wear a hat and sunscreen. It continues tomorrow Sunday, July 17th.
They need to go back to single line entry for Magic of Lights. There was a line that had been forming from shortly after 4 today with many cars waiting for entry yet a new line that started 5 minutes before opening was let in first. I've gone many years, intentionally going early and waiting to be one of the first cars in line and have never had the problem we had today. It's disheartening that such little consideration was given to those who showed up early. The lights are lots of fun and each year there seems to be more, but the customer service aspect of first come first serve disappearing is a let down. Add to that that while we were in line I watched the price get changed from 35$ to 40$ which is over top of the signs initial price of 25$. I would rate this higher if a focus on the patrons who put an effort to show up earlier got priority in the future and if the price doesn't change on a whim.
I attended the Dean Brody drive-in concert here and am still impressed at how organized, efficient and safe it was. Except for the odd person walking around without a mask, everyone around me seemed to adhere to the rules.
We were at the park for the second annual car show. Great location. Friendly staff. Lots of washrooms. Don't forget your hat and sunscreen. Easy access to the highway. Like a hockey game, takes some time to leave so be patient.
Mainly it's two parks next to each other, an equestrian park and a summer camping site. The NCC Greenbelt Trail#12 and TCTTrans Canada Trail are right through the middle of these two parks. There's a lot of equestrian events and there's also plenty of fun and charity ones, like car show and varieties of foot races during the summer time. There's a Magic Lights show during the holiday season. And the ground will be used by a local Nordiccross-country skiing club during the winter time.
The first annual Capital City Car Show was a blast. My kids absolutely loved it. So many cars, lots of parking, cool vendors, beautiful park with a goose pond
