Wentworth-Halton X-Ray is in violation of Halton By Law 47-20, unless excempt. I am medically excempt from wearing any face covering. I had discusses this with family doctor 6+months ago prior to a recent situation with Wentworth-Halton X-Ray. I am being denied medical attention from this company because it's their policy Face covering are mandatory even though all high risk By-Law enforcement has been revoked as of June 11th 2022... Even if I'm medically excempt they said from head office I would need to wait until their in house face mask policy is lifted before I can receive medical attention... or ho somewhere else... Because I'm medically excempt, receptionist and staff has labeled me as aggressive because the company deliberately falsely canceled my appointments saying I canceled my appointments when I had a July 8th booking confirmed at 1060 Speers rd location... I have every right to be frustrated when companies lie as to the real reason I'm being denied medical services... Because I show frustration over a By-Law I'm medically exempt from I'm immediately labeled as agressive I never once name called anyone... never once I was Condenseding towards staff, never once yelled at anyone but because it's a policy breaking By-Law 47-20 that I'm excempt from they cam deny me medical attention... their policy overrides by-law? I'm calling Oakville By-Law and I'm going to get this matter dealt with... I talked to Head office/ management and they wouldn't even acknowledge they were lieing or manipulating a situation to make it look like I was the one canceling my own appointments fraud so they wouldn't deal with my medical excemption and because I showed frustration over fraud I'm immediately labeled as agressive ... this is a joke right? First call: Myself and receptionist had a good pleasant conversation... I explained I was medically exempt and by-law lifted everything June 11th anyways for all High risk environments... Booking was confirmed for July 8th @ 11am 2022 @tge 1060 Speers road location...Receptionist said if their are any issues management will call me... Second call. Receptionist called me back a week later or so to re-book an appointment I cancelled Which I never cancelled I was put on hold twice while she looked into the matter... After holding twice I told her "I bet you I know what happened " she said "what" and then I told her " It's probably management canceling my appointment because they don't want to deal with me wearing a muzzle " receptionist immediately hung up and before I can fully explain I was medically excempt... Next phone call...After reporting them as refusing me medical treatment... I was labeled as being agressive towards staff and talking down to them... Not once was I Condenseding or abusive to staff in any way shape or form... Because I'm being labeled as Agressive and because they can't follow By-Laws they admitted to denying me medical services... I'm tired of private ownership bullying around people and not respecting the law. Private ownership believes they are above the law... Well I guess I'll be calling By-Law and getting this matter resolved...
Google shows the lab open till 8.00 PM. Called the phone number and the answering machine said that the hours were till 8.00 PM and that there were no appointments needed for x-rays. Reached there at 4.50 PM and the place was closed. Thai has happened on two occasions. At least they should have the decency to update the hours on the phone if not on the web so that people are not misled.
Tried calling to make an appointment two days in a row. First day the system hangs up on you after awhile due to high call volumes. So I tried the online request an appointment feature. After answering questions and uploading my req it tells me I will hear back in 7-10 DAYS. Seriously? Just don’t bother offering that option. So I called the next day and finally got through to someone. They sound overworked and overwhelmed. The actual lab technicians are professional and good. Not sure how much COVID has to do with this… The first appointment was 2.5 weeks away. Fortunately found another lab who fit me in the next day. What a contrast….
Have been using their services for entire family from many years and I have no problems, no bad experiences, or any unwanted delayes. Recently went in for ankle Xray, reported were went to the doctor same day. Front reception at times get busy, however they would give you exact time your turn would be in so you can wait in the car or go do errands before coming back so that helps a lot. Currently due to Covid many safety parameters in.place, might take longer to get a time slot but thats all needed to keep everyone safe. Parking is easy, access from Speers Rd is not bad, however getting out of the parking lot into Speers Rd traffic.may be challenging at time but not bad.
Great experience coming to this clinic for years. I recently went in for an ankle x-ray and I was in and out within 5 minutes. The front desk staff, Liz, and the technician were all very friendly. My images and report were available within 2 days on PocketHealth which was great too. Thank you to the team here!
I've seen Ultrasound technician Lena thrice during my pregnancy. She has excellent bed side manner! She understands that pregnancy is a crucial period during a women's life and she goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and shares information about baby's growth so you can be at peace. During covid, partners were not allowed inside so I went in alone for all scans; for the anatomy scan, she suggested that I can video call my husband towards the end of the scan and she revealed the gender to both of us during that call. It was absolutely amazing! I cannot thank her enough for how comfortable she made me feel every time I go in for a scan scan in general causes anxiety to me otherwise. I went to Oakville hospital for a scan and they were "rude" and not friendly. I would never go back to anyone else for a scan. Front desk staff are also very nice. Highly recommend this location and especially Lena!
Went for a neck x-ray. Was in and out in maybe ten minutes. The x-ray tech was so nice and made it super easy.
They have really nice people working there: both a receptionist and an x-ray technician were great and very helpful. I had to wait only 15 minutes to get an x-ray done.
I called a couple times to book an appointment for a mammogram. Once I called in the morning on a Saturday and the phone rang & rang & rang. Nobody answered the phone. Then I called around 6 pm on a Thursday evening and the same thing happened. I finally tried calling again on Thursday evening and pressed 0 instead of the 2 for mammogram. Someone finally answered but said he was the X-ray technician, the only one on staff and not able to book mammogram appointments. According to the form received from the doctor the location is open Mon-Fri 8 am to 8 pm and Sat & Sun 10 am - 4 pm. I finally got through on a Friday morning at 9:15 am, explained the situation and was put on hold for several minutes before being able to book an appointment. Time is a commodity that not many of us have. If the hours are different for booking appointments that should be included on the message the customer receives while they are on hold.
