Absolute worst food I have ever ate at a Wendy's. The baconator fries were basically just fries in a cold cheese soup. Save your time and money, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
The service is horrible. They will 100% forget to give you a straw... or a fork.... or the crispy onions for your salad. I've never had a complete order here. Something has always been missing.nThe burgers aren't labeled. So if you have an allergy, have fun with playing roulette in a group order. I've had to guess which burger was the one I ordered and ended up having an allergic reaction because they can't be bothered to label which burger is which.nAnd good luck ordering and picking it up. I've gone to pick up 2 times, and they made me come inside you are supposed to pick up in the drive thru, and they couldn't find my order. It wasn't in their system and they couldn't find my food. I had to wait for them to redo my order. Twice. This happened twice.n*IF YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SERVE YOUR PICK UP ORDERS DO NOT OFFER IT AS AN OPTION*nAlso, they don't offer a discount or anything extra for you having to wait while they fix their error.
My family and I came into the store at about 9:00pm, we were the only ones there. We ordered 6 burger combo, fries drink and all, they had a crew of 4 including the manager. They took 25-30 minutes to complete this order all while we can see drive thru cars being served, about 4-6 cars passed us as we waited that time. The crew including the manager were all doing the pre-close cleaning, which isn’t a problem if anyone was consistently working on our order. Our food was bagged, left on the counter outside of the warmer, for the a span of 25-30 minutes while they slowly made the order up. By the time we got to eat, half the burgers were cold. There were no markings as to which burger was which burger type ie if it was a baconator, son of baconator, or something else, which burgers had extra ingredients/less ingredients. One burger was also made wrong, which they corrected, but of course took no less than 5 minutes to make, had to walk over to the counter to tell them the burger had been sitting there since I last looked up.nnWe also were told to leave at 10 after, as the dine-in portion closed at 10pm. We arrived at 9 and we would have been gone by then if the food came any faster. I worked as a fast food manager for years and we never pushed customers out after the dine-in closed, especially if it was a negligible time like 10 minutes, we would have our crew just work on cleaning/closing other corners of the front lobby instead if that’s what they were concerned about. The bathrooms were absolutely terrible, the first one was clogged and full. The second one seemed like it hasn’t been cleaned for the evening, which was the better of the two.nnHaven’t been to a Wendy’s in a while and it was crazy to see that this specific store was like this coming from a customer perspective and from a former fast food worker as well.
As a senior citizen that has supported Wendy's I find it insulting that as a 75 year old that doesn't have the technical ability or wherewithal to install or use a Wendy's App. I am excluded from receiving the discounted offers of the App. This annoys me because I feel that as a baby boomer I have undergirded the well being of Wendy's with my purchase As an Adult taking my Children to Wendy's and as a Grandparent taking my grandchildren to Wendy's and as a senior citizen continuing to dine at your facility. I am trusting you can see how there is Clear Discrimination towards the very people who helped you build Wendy's to the successful franchise it is today. Shame onnWendy's for forgetting who brought them to be still successful 2024 Too Sad
I’m incredibly disappointed with Wendy’s in Lacombe. Ending breakfast at 10:30 a.m. is not only inconvenient but frankly, it’s just plain stupid and obtuse. I can understand wrapping up breakfast at 11:00, but 10:30? Why even bother offering breakfast if you’re going to cut it off so early? It’s frustrating for those of us who don’t have the luxury of making it there by 10:30. It seems like Wendy’s is out of touch with their customers’ needs. A real letdown.
