8/22/22 3:00PM Wendy's on Harlem and Madison in Oak Park DON'T EAT AT THIS LOCATION... I went in to use the restroom before I ordered. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The women's restroom is so dirty I didn't even use it. I asked to use the men's restroom instead it was a bit cleaner but I didn't use it either. The sink was so dirty in the men's restroom it looked like it ain't been cleaned in weeks. I placed an order then asked to speak to the manager to bring it to his attention. Then I noticed the front counter how dirty it was and the restaurant wasn't even busy inside. I cancelled my order and asked for my money back. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like
Waited over 15 minutes at the drive through window with no response. Pull around to the window and the cashier finally acknowledges that maybe her headset battery died. She won’t take our order and suggests that we need to get back in the very long drive through line again. Really poor service. Some of the worst I have ever had at any fast food chain restaurant ever.
Watching the news i seen wendys offering free sandwiches on veterans day with with proof of id. I live 50 feet from wendys on madison and harlem. Doors were locked when i arrived so i went back to my car and went through the drive through. I asked for the the veterans day meal. Was told this wendys does not participate in that. time was around 902am. I dont care either way but the advertising acting like your being nice to military and veterans and then not offering something or teaching your employees of your current promos. Makes your restaurant look like trash. STOP THE FAKE ADS WENDYS
DO NOT COME HERE! I currently have a complaint pending at this location. The worst location I’ve ever been to and would not recommend it to anyone. They got childish and rude teens handling food and impersonating managers when asked to speak to one. Absolutely not the place to be acting like this. Not to mention how unsanitary it is. There’s literally a hospital across the street c’mon now, this is not the place for all that. Get a grip or shut it down. Period.
This is one of the most tragic franchises you'll ever come across. Budget at least 15 minutes of your time if you plan to go through the drive-thru, even if it's for one small frosty. This location has been a dire experience for several years running. Once a year I think to myself "Surely I just caught them at a bad time, they can't really be THAT slow." And every single time they really are that slow. I feel bad for the employees who have to take on the frustrations of customers, they don't deserve it of course. They really need to just shut down and start over with totally new management. I beg you not to go here if you are on any sort of time constraint.
The staff is a young crew of African Americans who were very disrespectful. I tried to order thru drive thru I was told it was down only to find out the manager was the one who told me that because she was outside on a cigarette break. When I entered i seen about 6 to 7 workers who didn't acknowledge that I was there to place an order. I had to ask if I could place a order they were all just leaning and talking with each other and on there phones. I placed my order and asked for a fresh fries and spicy chicken sandwich I was told they not going to drop fresh fries. I had to argue with a young man about my order I was spending my money and that I'm a customer he called me out my name and all. The manager was stressed out with the crew that was working she told me she couldn't handle them. Don't go to this location until they get a new respectful crew
I love Wendy’s. This location is the consistently terrible spot. The burgers are soaking wet from grease. The wrappers are soaked with oil. It’s like getting a dipped Italian beef.
Probably the worst Wendy’s I’ve been to. They always have an attitude and they always over charge me. Every single time. Just need an entire new staff. Rude for no reason. Find a new job if you hate Wendy’s that much it’s ridiculous.
This is possibly the worst Wendy's Ive ever been too. I order here often both in person and via grubhub because its close to my house. But every time I order from this place there had been issues. We've had missing ingredients at least 3 times. A few times pulled up to the window just to be told that the system is down and we had our order cancelled by grubhub at the estimated deliery time due to the restaurant being close, when its clearly still open. Stay away from this place.
Okay so I boycotted Wendy's since 2016 because they support DRUMPF and the REPUBLIKLAN party, but I returned to Wendy's a few weeks ago only to discover that Wendy's garbage picked the French fry recipe that Burger King trashed because it sucks. Now what was the greatest fries at a major fast food chain is now the absolute worst. I guess I will continue to midnight binge somewhere else from now on...
