Wellsboro House

Food that we got was good, but not great. We had their in house beer and all our choices were great. They put over some unique beers that are missing try’s. Prices were reasonable for what you got.

Wow! Check out the Full Moon over Kansas City(with the knife) and the Build ur Own Hamburger! Delicious..Delicious. The Chesapeake 🍟 Fries were seasoned well...brought back memories of the Boardwalk days.

Though in town, the restaurant is tucked out of the way and a bit of a hunt for those unfamiliar with the area. But oh! It's worth the effort! The fresh calamari is incredibly tender and tasty. We each had the fried oyster po boy - delicious and a huge serving for the price, served with home-cooked potato chips. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis!

Good family atmosphere. Good draft beer selection, but they don't tell you the ABV of any of them, and the servers don't know when they are asked. I usually end up Googling the beer to find out about it before ordering. There are only a couple of items on the menu that are prepared well. I have tried many items on the menu, and the only consistently good one is the Philly Cheesesteak.
