Located in the historic Carnegie Library, the Welland Museum is a community museum featuring the history of Welland and the surrounding area, the building of the Welland canal, aqueduct, local industry and cultural diversity.The museum offers changing exhibitions, workshops, school visits and special events.
The museum is a great place for kids of all ages! The Just 4 Kids Gallery allows younger visitors to explore history through hands-on play and discovery.Play dress-up and uncover fossils, Hands-on play in your teepee, learn about life from a soldiers perspective in the WWI interactive display or take a peek at our reptile friends and meet our very own resident museum turtle Allie Marie Turtle!
