Drivers are friendly but that's pretty much it. The schedules are so tight that if one person with a stroller gets on, that could mean the difference between making your connection downtown or missing it. However, some of the drivers are absolutely spineless when it comes to getting people in the bus. They'll take their sweet time talking to anyone that comes on, which costs time. Additionally, some of them simply can't keep time or don't seem to care about it. That's great, but some of us have to RELY on your service to get around and it is currently unreliable. I've never been late so many times to work than with Welland Transit. I also shouldn't have to leave my house an hour early just to ensure I make a connection. Re-work your routes, schedules, and train your drivers better. Pathetic service, making people wait half an hour for the next bus on top of it all.
I just wanted to tell you about the Driver and I was waiting at Niagra College at 5 PM for 509 bus. The driver stopped the bus just behind the 503 bus and I started walking towards the bus, but he didn’t stop for five seconds and I handed to the driver. He just gone in front of us and we were like stupid idiot.nBus number 509 wellandnBus timing :- 5 pm October 17 at niagara college .nHate niagara transit by this driver
Worst bus terminal ever. This morning a student bus driver took the 75 with nobody on it. They didn’t even bother to schedule another bus to actually take people for the same time.nnWe were left stranded there with no updates. People were late for work and class.nnWhy not train people at a less inconvenient time for most people. Maybe the day? Seriously where are the brain cells here
Really friendly staff and clean terminal, I was having a bit of an issue getting a pass and a super friendly lady helped me out since it was my first time going on the bus, awesome support.
Approximately 1010 bus sped past me I was on southworth and McCabe. I stood aside it usually stops nope. Just sped up went past. I was so upset. I called it in. I never do that something must have happened . I waited since 930.nIam sorry if you had an issue . Maybe something happened I don't normally complain like this.
