Burger=Awesome. Fettuccini=Fair. Service=POOR! Took an hour to get our food at 8pm. Fettuccini was to come with a salad and roll. No salad because they were out of lettuce but didn’t bother to tell us until the meal came. No roll and no explanation. Offered our friends coleslaw. They agreed. I did not and was not asked or interested yet she brought it and charged us. Had to make 3 trips to get 4 sets of silverware. Had to ask for ice water multiple times just to get the initial drink. When a member of our group said he wanted water instead of another beer, waitress tosses hands in the air and shouts “Whatever” with an eye roll. Our bills were incorrect so we asked for them to be fixed. Kristin, very dramatically, took them back and huffed saying she would fix. We see her talking to coworkers who turned out to be the owner, clearly upset. The locals/ regulars were taken well care of. We watched it. I wish I could recommend, but I would say skip it.
Good food, friendly service, and good northwoods atmosphere. Quite slow when they are serving full capacity--we waited an hour for our food. Our party was there during live music and it was really, really loud. With no live music and a smaller crowd, I'd go back.
Have no choice other than to compare to when it was Rosenthal's as that is what I'm familiar with... pizza was still good but not quite as good as before...apps were bad, jalapeno stuff pepper was plain and the wings were okay at best and tiny. The wings previously were damn good. Service really struggled to put orders in properly, slow and at one point I went to the bar to get a drink rather than wait for my server and waited there maybe 10 minutes and nobody acknowledged me so I just gave up and went back to my table. I'll be giving other local spots a try before giving Webb Lake Tavern another go.
With all that is going on it is hard to know where you will feel safe eating at or they have a decent menu. They opened at 3pm and we arrived 4. I have posted the menu which is one time use. Sanitizer at entrance and tables 6 feet apart. No masks worn. The Tomato bisque soup was the best. The shrimp dinner is very good. Last year we stopped for burgers and really enjoyed. Great menu. Not so comfortable with no masks and condiments on table. Only maybe 10 people at time we went.
Service and staff were amazing. They all were super friendly. The burgers were awesome and were cooked to perfection. Our kids loved the Mac and cheese and the chicken strips. The french fries tasted like they needed some more seasoning. The only thing we had that wasn't worth it to us was the Friday cod special. The batter tasted like it was lacking seasoning. Other than those things, everything was great. We will definitely come back to this place for the burgers!
Fish fry was awesome. Came back and had steaks and prime rib. They could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Everything was very clean and tidy. Would recommend!
We tried the home made pizza tonight. Really good crispy thin crist and perfect amount of toppings. The sausage is a little spicy which I like but might be a bit much for the Midwest pallet.Food: 5/5
Excellent food and atmosphere!
They have excellent burgers, gluten free buns and good gluten free pizza.
Super polite & good looking server waited on my table of 6 & was Jonny on the spot with drinks & food! Highly recommend the Spicy Italian sandwich yum
