In addition to offering all the services one could hope for from an excellent library, the Wayne County Library in Honesdale is a lively, welcoming, community center, an indispensable asset in our small town.

A little clique-ish at the front desk, takes me back to highschool and that "who are you? You ain't in the local yearbook," mentality, but the librarians themselves are incredibly helpful, intelligent, well informed and doing a very fine job. I wish they had the standard 21 day borrowing system. I'm just glad they accept my box-loads of used books for the sale room.
