Very reasonable pricing for three hours of entertainment 6:30pm to 9:30pm all ages Saturday night. Good vibes between the staff and others skaters. I’m definitely going back.
We had a birthday party for our 8 year old and everything was awesome!! The party host was EXCELLENT! Very organized and she took care of everything! I would highly recommend this place! It was clean and so much fun!
We love Skateland as a family, but I especially have been enjoying going and having some time without kids at the Adult Skate Night the last couple of months! I even turned on a few other friends to it as well. I just have to find out footing again in this "old" mom body! The rink is well maintained; most other patrons are respectful of skaters of all types and levels of experience; and the staff is kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I hope they start adding even more adult skates to their schedule. My one wish would be to have a separate night for each decade. Going to 90s/2000s night, I find the music is very 2000s rap and hip-hop heavy. It's still great music and is fun, but I don't get the same cringe, infommercial mix CD of Euro pop/dance, R&B, and alt-rock/grunge vibe as I did as a tween and teen at the rink in the 90s. Think of that skipping Jock Jams CD in your Walkman. I would imagine the same would go for the 70s/80s night. The music can just be so different for each decade! However, whatever the playlist is, it still is a great time! I love watching all the jam skaters, and it's inspiring me to keep practicing to rebuild old skills that are decades lost.
The place is fun , the reception staff was so rude and not recommended for birthday parties, they are not welcoming , not giving any information to help set up for your event. I surprised that’s they are not provide stand to support the beginners which is included with my package , and the guy at the ticket window left me while I’m talking with him questioning about my package details and the other lady said if you don’t accept you can leave !! In a very rude way . I went before to ask about all the details , he didn’t even give me any information he said go to the website and call to reserve a date . Not recommended
When my older kids go along to watch my younger kids skate, they should NOT be charged full price.... they are NOT skating and are watching the younger kids as spectators. They are over 18 years of age and should NOT be charged full price! Basically they are forcing parents to come and watch the kids and not allowing responsible older siblings to do the job. This place has bad owners that only care about money. They take only cash... I wonder why. Also the lady at the door was rude.... no manners at all. They will be loosing our family of 6 for business!
I swear they charge you whatever they want since it’s cash only. Went online to check hours and prices. The day we planned to attend stated $10. Free skate rental. Get there and was charged $14 per person. Then went to get 2 slushies. One small at $2.75 and one large at $3. She charged me $6.25. I later realized this but the sign is literally above the counter. I won’t be going back because of this.
Great place to take the kids. Keep in mind, they only take cash at the door! I prefer Thursday evenings since I have smaller kids. The weekends get pretty crazy.
Has been fun place, friendly staff and prompt service. I love how they have a designated area for beginners, and it’s very spacious. Plus they have free skate mates for the kids on Sundays, which is perfect for beginners and kids!
Really fun place, very friendly staff and a nice environment. I really like the bench on the one side of the rink, very convenient.
We gave it another try and let's just say it was not great but ok. Wifi was an issue. The involved a reloaded card for the games n it's connected to their internet n it kept booting out n when u swipe the card it actually takes all your credits. I bought $20 which gave I think 400+ credits n after two swipes it was empty. Never again. We'll come for skating that's it Our last visit was not fun at all hopefully we can give it another try however we wish they would have a special needs night. A night where the music is not too loud, lights are not too crazy and the staff are better trained to be appropriate especially if they're kids are they're like neither should be making fun of anyone they should always be respectful and professional. Our first time we had a lot of fun. It was my kids first time n within n hour my son went from practicing on the carpet to the green wall then to being out on the floor. I was Soo proud my little girl still needs time. The only reason I gave four stars is that only 2-3 games out of more than a dozen worked. I wanted to give 3 stars however the staff did do all they could to make it right when quarters were lost etc. Sadly I lost my phone with the pictures we took Our second time was not good at all except my kids made friends and had some fun until things caused an emotional melt down n with kids having special needs it's hard to really tell when n why however one staff n her kids were pointing and making fun of my daughter which is not right at all so If u have children with special needs u may not want to bring them here. If they have an emotional reaction to something the staff who had their children there will encourage their children to point n laugh at them the staff will do it as well.
