Just amazing didn’t expected this one to be this beautiful park. It was all of sudden plan to visit there as it was our marriage anniversary. Today the weather was so good , it was such a nice lake. We went there with a family , kids played nicely in a playground. There is a little sand area for kids to play. My kid loved playing there. They have pavilions too , had lunch there. Took a nice walk around a lake. Had a lovely anniversary celebration there Would definitely love to visit again for more gatherings.
Few miles of trail to stretch those legs and enjoy your time outside. The view of the lake is amazing.can be bothering for the homes around due to constant traffic for trail walkers so try to maintain some balance in your visits. Can never go wrong in trying this during weekdays. Plenty of wild flowers towards the right at the beginning on a small hill. A sight for the eyes. Playground: Playground is well kept. Limited choice in terms of slides. Take the kids on a walk and let them.play halfway. Friendly neighborhood, easily accessible Restrooms: Available at the start of trail only but clean and we'll kept Dog-friendliness: Friendly place for our fur buddies. Let them stretch around and enjoy the nature as much as we do. Picnic area: Although there is only 1 picnic spot which is most of time booked but it's large enough for small birthday parties or group get togethers. Very close to parking, play area and restrooms. What more is required on a weekday Frisco dinner in park with family and kids.
Our son LOVES to go fishing here. He'll go pretty much every weekend to try and catch fish. Always busy with people too and other kiddos so he's always making friends. Lots of birds to see from baby duckies to big ole cranes. Overall, always a good time when we come here. Thank you!
It was a nice loop around the lake. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful houses and well kept yards. I saw some ducks and a few herons. I was surprised that most of the walkers did not say "hello", but whatever. The 4 that did made it nice.
This park was a gem in a busy city like Aurora. Well kept, easy parking and I don't have much information about it, but the gazebo area would be great for events. Fireplace, BBQ grills and seating all there. The rail near the gazebo would make a great location for a photo opportunity, like engagement photos or Christmas card photo. My only complaint was it was quite busy. You won't be alone for long. High traffic.
Gorgeous walking path and the people we run into are always very nice! We bring our little dog with us and she loves seeing all of the other dogs. There's not too much in regard to shade except a short quarter mile or so on the short loop but it's still a nice walk and I don't get eaten alive by mosquitoes which is nice!
Nature on one side of the path.. Houses on the other side of the path. I started out towards Copley hospital to get more Nature. I saw a young buck. The paths are all blacktop. You can skate, ride a bike, push a stroller. Playground: A number of play grounds along the path. Dog-friendliness: A number of people walking their dogs. Picnic area: Nice picnic area.
Nice place to take out pet , child or bike or skate. Not too crowded but need more vegitation around to provide better shade .
Real estate taxes are keep going up every year and the lake still looks terrible and we are getting less and less service The trail is nice surrounded by beautiful homes but the lake is polluted not well cared for. Used to be a beautiful lake 15 years ago ! We Need new chief.
This Park is spread across a large area. Starting from the parking and grass grounds, it's scattered into Bits & pieces everywhere which is Covering a lot of space. You can find a large covered picnic area having multiple benches. There are several playgrounds dedicated to children of all ages across the park. We started with one playground, kept moving to the next ones & my 6 yrs old had a great time doing this. Play areas got Swings, Slides, Monkey bars, Roundabout, Resting benches & so on. I like the extended but peaceful Biking/trails. It's getting warmer now so on a Friday evening, during our visit the park was pretty much packed. A delightful waterfall bridge is a unique feature, as I noticed its popularity among people, Lot of people were having their food around it. The whole neighborhood appears to be having an abundance of fresh air. If you arrive here, you don't have to spend time looking for a parking space, there are multiple parking areas including accessible parking. My daughter didn't want to come back from the park, it was so much fun for her & I agree.
