Food was pretty good, but the prices are very high for what you get. $40 for a sweet potato dish, $43 for a chicken breast with bacon, $20 bruschetta, etc. portions were normal healthy ones, but definitely not large. The food is well executed, but you can get food that’s just as good for $20-$25 per main elsewhere so spending $40 here is a raw deal. Service and atmosphere were nice, but didn’t justify the added cost.
Service was good. Cocktails were ok, wife and I ordered the same drink and they tasted different. Dinner was redeeming, great use of seasonal items. Worth the visit, if it's a popular weekend make reservations.
The salmon bruschetta is a show stopper. The meatloaf and pork chop are totally unreal. This place deserves all the stars. It’s ten bucks to reserve a table per person. Pay it. It’s worth it. Amazing staff and cocktails too. #CleanPlateClub
We went for a birthday dinner, and it was so so good! Service was speedy. Had the oysters on the half shell, cheese plate, pork tenderloin and salmon. Even gave us cake for the special day! Got a same day reservation as well. I would highly recommend Watershed, and will be visiting anytime we are in Leavenworth. To people complaining about pricing, it is a fancy restaurant in a tourism town amid a devastating pandemic at that. I think the pricing was justified
Looking at reviews sorted by recent I went to my anniversary dinner last night a little nervous. Would the menu be uninspired, the music too bright, the service inattentive? The answer to all three of these was an absolute NO! Every place can have a bad day but rest assured the food was fantastic salmon and meatloaf sandwiched between tomato bruschetta and flourless chocolate cake, the portions were more than adequate and the menu variety similar to many restaurants of its ilk. Our server - Christine - was charming and took great care of us and every other person that I met working there seemed authentic with a ready smile. I would have loved a local wines by the glass section but that is my only suggestion. Taking nothing away from a few others experience I am very glad to have eaten there and would definitely keep it on my list for next time.
Watershed was very accommodating of my food allergies, which I greatly appreciated. I selected a salmon dish and it was delicious. It was easy to make reservations via Tock and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is comfortable and the music was at the perfect background volume to still enable conversation. The space was rather cramped but they have sound dampeners on the ceiling and overall I'd highly recommend them for a splurge night out.
Came here for our anniversary dinner on a recommendation from a friend. Glad we did. Had the meatloaf and porkchop and both were fantastic as was the Krampus old fashioned. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
We were in Levenworth over the weekend and made reservations because they fill up quickly. The drinks were classic and we had the Warm Snowgrass Farm’s Spinach & Beecher’s Cheddar and because of the large portions, my husband and I shared Watershed All-Natural RR Ranch Beef Meatloaf with classic whipped potatoes roasted cremini mushrooms, cabernet green peppercorn herb gravy and a side of green beans. It was a little pricey with $40+ for meatloaf, but the staff were attentive and the food was served HOT and it was amazing.
Great place to just relax and enjoy food and people. Food was great, I had the chicken wrapped in bacon. Also tried the meatloaf but it was a little salty for me but good otherwise.
What a huge disappointment. What happened to this place? Went for a special occasion and it was a bust. The service was the worst we’ve ever had. The food was…not great. And really expensive. Worst of all was the seating. The tables are ridiculously close to each other. You may as well be dining with strangers. Not possible to have a private conversation. Dined here two years ago for a special occasion and it was excellent. Amazing service, food and atmosphere. Not sure what happened but it ruined our celebration.
