Mary the owner is a thorough, passionate researcher in all water matters and bringing only the best selections in her store. My latest favourite is Berkey gravity water filter, perfect for filtering tap, rain and spring water without any connection or power necessary. Tip: keep your Berkey filter on the balcony table or deck when the weather is cool not freezing for a perfect and refreshing water temperature.
I bought my new Berkey counter top filter here a few months back, and I was very satisfied with the knowledgeable advice and assistance I received. The owner was genuine and helpful. My filter took some getting used to, but now I am delighted with it. I will be returning soon for a shower filter!

I agree owner unethical, not interested in anything but herself. My experience with she and my contractor was terrible. Cost me big $, completely misrepresented asked for. No take back or offer of a dime in compensation. Never will deal with this woman again! Too bad because her suppliers have put trust in her to offer their great products to the public.
Always something new and interesting at Water Matters.........I stopped in to get a little info about my distiller which I love and found out about Actimar seawater. Thanks to all the staff when I called 3 times and dropped in once just to clarify something I was doing wrong in changing out my water filter.. Everyone has been very patient and helpful! They know so much about our water here in Vancouver - I appreciate all their great service.
Water Matters...in soooo many ways. Mary...the shoppe keep is dedicated to making sure our most precious commodity besides the air we breathe, WATER...is kept alive and brought to its very best when our tap water fails us. Filtration of heavy metals and undesirable emollients is entirely possible and more a necessity today more than ever. Do yourself...your family...and loved ones a favor...go visit her shop...and ask some questions you've never bothered to ask before...about the water you drink...And more importantly...what you can do about it...
Nice selection and knowledgeable. Competitive prices. Appreciated the parking out back. However, I decided not to purchase from here. I went in looking for an under the counter filter for my tiny kitchen and she tried to talk me into buying a more expensive Berkey. The suggestion was I put a massive cylinder on the top of my fridge and use a step ladder to refill it every 2nd day. Who has that kind of time??
