I recently had the misfortune of visiting Waterfront Station, and I have to say, it was quite a disappointing experience. The first thing that struck me was the state of cleanliness. There was trash littered all over the ground—empty bottles, food wrappers, and other debris. For a place that serves as a transportation hub, I expected much better.nnThe lack of cleanliness made me hesitant to even sit down while waiting for my train. Interesting and historic train station with lot's of meaningful history regarding Vancouver. It's worth a visit even if you aren't traveling out of it. There are several places to eat within the building and nearby there are several vantage points looking out over the rails.
Went to Chronic Taco and the food was delish . Place was clean, lots of seating, kind & thoughtful service. $16 included 2 tacos hard shell my fave, choice of 1 from 3 types of beans & they had 2 types of rice. Felt full after. I took my meal to go, next time I'll sit in and people watch for awhile
Easy to access to Canada line station, to king George, to surrey, seabus to Northvan, express train. Bars and restaurants across the area and mini convenient store. Built over one hundred years ago to handle transcontinental trains, it has renaissanced into a twenty-first century transit
A beautiful building with a stunning interior in the style of the late 19th century. The station resembles a solid respectable hotel, even the exit to the street is also stylized. The building houses several cafes and a souvenir shop. In addition, a very convenient connection of several types of transport.
