Satay Pho with jasmine tea for lunch today. I am so glad I finally made it in to Watercress Restaurant! Delicious food and wonderful, welcoming service. I even had the opportunity to have a lovely conversation with the owner. With no fresh basil to be found in town, fresh parsley was a decent substitute. Supplies, as we all know, can be tough to come by these days! Thank you for a wonderful meal, great conversation and excellent service! I will definitely be back!
I had a 2-month visit to Kamloops which is a lovely town from my experience and i was blessed to find out this best gem in this town for Vietnamese food If you do not know about this restaurant, you will miss your best food in life. When you come here, please MUST try the magic number 15 on the menu, even Vancouver will not have this dish and i am sure that you will love this 15 on the menu for sure. Good broth, fresh meat and the taste is magical I am always honest in my review and i am back to Vancouver now which i really miss this place, so if you are in Kamloops, you are lucky, my friends.
Wanted to try this new restaurant on the Northshore. Very tastey! Nice clean place. Friendly owners! Great fish pot, very well presented. I had the vegetarian vermicelli combo. Lots to eat. Should of drank my mango bubble tea after my meal, to save room. Took 2 mango bubble teas home for later.
pictured is #1, #4 and #20. Also 2 taro bubble tea's, first time ordering take out from here. IT WAS AMAZING! would definitely reccomend, service was kind and efficient, pricing was good, food is totally worth it.
Good authentic Vietnamese food. The rice noodles is gd n without the strange taste that many restaurants have. The soup base is very gd. Better than most in Vancouver n richmond
Unfortunately our food was incredibly greasy. The tofu was basically a shell empty because it had been fried so long. I expect this for fast food, but not for a highly rated restaurant. Sadly, we will not return. The portion size was good though.
We pass through Kamloops quite often,this is the first time we have eaten at Watercress Vietnamese Restaurant for dinner.I enjoyed the beef pho and my hubby had the salmon rolls.He asked for another portion.My beef pho was exceptionally tasty,with traditionally Vietnamese seasoning.Pho is my first choice in the morning for breakfast,reminds me of back home.The decore is simple Vietnamese in style.The price was very inexpensive with good quality and topped off with a good helping of sprouts.We will come back on our way through Kamloops. As they say in Canada Bon appétit.
The food had me absolutely drooling.. unbelievably tasty! Such a lovely business, great staff. Looking forward to going again soon. Ive fallen in absolute love of combo 20! Definetly on my top 3 Kamloops resturants list
This is a hidden gem on the culinary map of Kamloops. Unassuming, basic and easy to miss. Which would be shame. Highly recommended. Those Guys are going through some hardships right now, so please support your local restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
Good place to get Vietnamese dishes in town. Friendly service and yummy dishes.
