WaterBird Lakeside Inn

Clean and comfortable, would definitely stay here again! The view during the day is priceless. Once you walk onto your deck you are literally standing over water, how cool.

If was fun. But I still think it's haunted. The balcony is over a lake, and it feels as if someones watching tou. Besides that, the people there are nice, and you can have fun with friends or family if you stay there.

Booked for our first anniversary weekend. When we booked it sais they had pool and hot tub. Hence the waterbird lakeside inn and spa. When we got there , no pool or hot tub. And the spa part was taken off of the building however it still showed a pool in the fire escape plans. We did get a room with a jetted tub, but it may as well not been jetted, no water pressure, the room was not anything like what we anticipated it being for the price and it was FREEZING. I think the only suprise was the spider I found in my bed. They must not turn heat on in hallways because it was freezing and the cold from hallway was coming into our room so we had to crank heat full blast. Pretty disappointed for our first anniversary weekend.

Although you don't get breakfast or a kitchen, you do get a huge room with a balcony that overlooks a pretty dope lake covered in lily pads. I had a great time sitting on the balcony and minding my own business while I watched the wildlife. The lake is beautiful in its own way at night and you don't have a huge porch light to blind you all night. No cameras on the balconies either so you don't feel like you are constantly being watched while you are out there.

I wish I could do a 3.5. The room was large and the hot tub/spa tub was also large. The deck was nice to look at the wildlife in the lake. The working fireplace was very nice. The couch was gross and needs replaced. It had a microwave and refrigerator and chairs with a small end table. Overall I was pleased, the pros of the stay overrode the cons. If they just invested a bit more in the place I think it could be 5 stars.
