The most amazing fish and chips in town! We stumbled upon this restaurant one evening and it was fate that we did. Not only was our meal 5 stars but the service is out of this world! Phil is by far, the most entertaining server we’ve ever had. So many laughs throughout the evening, if he doesn’t do standup comedy, he should! Highly recommend this spot!
We at some great food here. The atmosphere is very relaxed and Phil, working front of house, made us feel welcome and helped us with our food choices. We shared; 1/2 lb mussels in spicy sauce 1 piece haddock and chips Fish tacos All were perfectly cooked, presented and tasted amazing. Would most definitely eat here again.
Wow what a great gem! By far #1 fish cakes, wanted fish was gonna order my regular go to Haddock, waiter, who let me say is one of the best, convinced us to try Cod. He was confident, id love it or free. It was the best and freshest fish I've had since being on the Island. I choice Ceasars salad with my fish. To start we had onion rings and fish cakes. Our server should be a stand up comedian, he has the greatest personalities we have had the pleasure of since moving here. Will definately be back.
SAME DAY CAUGHT FISH! Our family dined in here for our first night in PEI, and WOW did we ever choose the right restaurant. We got the fresh battered fish too delicious so it was eaten too fast to snag a picture, wings, seafood chowder and the eggplant dress [pictured] a vegetarians dream! Finally I’ve found a restaurant that’s veggie options aren’t limited to salads and veggie burgers!. Phil was our server that night and he was equally as hilarious as he was an attentive host! Wish we were in PEI longer just to go back to Water St Fish & Chips!
The food was on point and so tasty. The atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly. It makes me sad that I don't live there so I could make it my regular place. If you are visiting for the Canada Games, make sure you visit before leaving.
In town over Easter and happy Water St was open Sunday night. Had a cup of the seafood chowder so good and steamed mussels first of the season, quite plump and tasty. Great conversation with the host, too, as it wasn’t crowded. Recommended!
5/5 stars!! So glad we came upon this great place! We were a group of 8, and there were no issuesin accommodating sll of us. This is the perfect stop if you're looking for a casual, relaxing place to eat! They offer a wide variety of locally sourced drink and food. If we weren't from Alberta, we would definitely become regulars! Thank you for the amazing service, food, and experience!
Fish and Chip is great. Kids meal is yummy. The server is very nice
Delicious fish and chips place. They give the option of having fish with steamed rice instead of fried. The waiter was very fun and quirky.
Amazing fish and chips, the halibut was absolutely delicious. The server owner? was super cheeky and I had a good time. Good beer too!
