Water's Edge Restaurant

This is a very nive looking place with a great view. It was little confusing for me since it looks like a fine dining but the service was like a regular pub level. May be evening it is different. Having said that waitress was very nice and polite. One big issue for me, when I went to my table, there were pieces of food left from the previous customer on the table you can even see it in one of the images and this is not acceptable in a normal time but during Covid, it is horrible. This shows that they are not following the rules of. Sanitizing between customer. This is the reason for 3 stars, otherwise 3.5 to 4 stars can be given. Another thing I don't like was individually packaged condiments, may be it is for pandemic purposes but it still degrades the service. Food was really good. Amazing fries and great burger, I would definitely recommend. Burger was $22 if I am not wrong. It is above the range of this level of service I might say. Alcohol was expensive, they have a great wine list, really expensive stuuf too. This is the. Point I got confused, I would expect a little higher end service at a place with this kind of prices. Set up is great, indoor dining room look good and decent bathrooms. As I mentioned earlier location and view is perfect. I would consider going again but I not absolutely sure. I hope they Pay attention to this and start wiping the tables

Ima going to give this one a three. Pretty good patio and bar scene, but the food menu this year is underwhelming, particularly for the price.

Came here the other day to try their extreme sauce for the chicken wings, the sauce was HOT but tasted great! Ended up getting two orders. Staff were really friendly and helpful, they did a great job with the drinks! Love coming here in the summer for the view and the atmosphere.

Worst food. Fish taco had dry up, tasteless "no name piece of fish stick" that must off come from frozen food section at the discount supermarket. This taco wasn't edible so we left it on the plate. We told our server our grievances. She said the she will bring it up to the chef but when she came back with the check there was no feedback? It was served with frozen fries. HAMBURGER was not any better. Also overdone very dry and tasteless. Garden salad was OK. I GAVE ONE STAR FOR THE LOCATION ONLY.

Wait time to get served was horrible. Actually, we didn’t even get served after getting seated. Eventually we went over to the bar to ask for someone to serve us after 10 mins of waiting. Food then took 40 mins to show up after ordering. Food quality was substandard. Burger ordered wasn’t fully cooked and they had to re-do it. Other burger was burnt and pasta was watery. I’m not sure what’s going on there and if it’s a management problem as well as staff not caring, but it was an uninspiring experience. The funny thing is that this has happened before, but I thought this year I would give them another chance to see if they’ve improved. Obviously not. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I care about, but they do have one bright star there. Her name is Liv at the bar. If it wasn’t for her to make the extra effort to help, we would have left. Really unacceptable for a local place.

No one in restaurant on a Saturday night. Wouldn’t sit us where we wanted because they said the table wasn’t set and would take too long to set. Forgot our appetizer. Didn’t apologize. Kids meal came out late. No refill on water after 45 min sitting at table. Removed $125 bottle of wine from the table with wine still in it. Didn’t look and discarded the bottle. Didn't ask how the meal was. No cheese or pepper was offered with one of the pastas ordered. Tired. Over rated. Will NOT be back.

Love the tiered patio overlooking the water and the dining lounge had windows galore with lovely views in every direction. 4 of us ordered the burgers off the bar menu and I swear they were 2" thick and perfectly done. Such a great place!

The reviews on Google give it a good recommendation. I agree the food was excellent the location was very enjoyable

Absolutely disgusting… no other words can describe this place. Thank god we never had the opportunity to eat. I had ordered a beer which was warm and flat.. We were sitting on the dock and I need to find the washroom, I ended up going through the back entrance by accident and into the wrong door which lead me into the staff bathroom/ kitchen. It was the dirtiest stinkiest restaurant cooking quarters I’ve ever witnessed. There were bugs on the baseboards on the wall, also on the ceiling and lights. The smell was horrid and the floor was extremely greasy and dirty. Staff was super rude and dry, prices are waaaaay out to lunch. I don’t mind paying for good food but this was no better then a McDonald’s meal. I can’t believe people with money choose to eat here. Think twice before coming here.

We have been here several times for lunch many years ago and had a wonderful experience, but made the mistake of coming here for dinner for the first time a few nights ago and couldn’t believe how overpriced the dinner menu was. Some of the portion sizes were small and a few of us were still hungry afterwards. The food was mediocre and the service was extremely slow - we had to wait almost an hour to get our food.
