Always a meditative walk along the beach. Any time of year.nLive the changes Mother Nature has made of the beach with new dunes and new vegetation. The only continual aggravation is the constant garbage people choose to leave behind. And full dog poop bags left by the way side. Bring it home are garbage bin people. They are all over the beach.
15 kilometers of beautiful beach with a designated dog beach at area 3! During the week the beach is very quiet and relaxed but on the weekends it is flooded by visitors from far and near!
Nice warm shallow water. We use the 3d parking lot and it was not too crowded on Saturday. There is picnic area under the trees and there is a dog beach near by.
Paid parking.nWater is relatively safe for kids over 8, supervision is strongly recommended.nAmazing sunset.nPublic washrooms need more care.
Wasaga Beach is worth the drive. We went very early in the morning 8 am in August. The beach is very long. It is divided into sections. It could get crowded as the day goes on. The water was still chilly but a lot of people were swimming ‍. You can easily spend the whole day there. Don't forget your umbrella.
