Myself and family love this place. We recently discovered it this past summer 2023. It's a great and exciting place for kids and even adults. The only downside of it is that every time you finish a lap, you gutta stop and hand a ticket to one of the boys. I'm hoping that in the future, they can figure out a better way in tracking costumers laps. Overall, it's a must try, and it's great to support these seasonal businesses. See you guys next summer!!!
Very expensive. You have to stop and give a ticket each time you finish a lap. Waste of money waste if time. Needs to be a better system so you can ride your laps continuously.
We had a great time today! Always fun going with a large group. Down side you have to stop every lap! Up side you have to stop every lap! You end up having multiple races during you time here. Kids and adults all had fun. Karts are well matched in speed so it stays fairly competitive for everybody.
Fun atmosphere, my kids enjoyed but it wasnt long enough. The student/workers watching the riders need to get off their phones. I really wish they would change the structure. Having to stop to give a ticket every lap is dumb. We paid the $85 cash for 12 laps family of 4 so 3 laps each. It lasted 7 minutes. For $85 so I'm Sorry but to me that's a little to pricey to come back.
All the 3 games there were pretty engaging. But the most fun is Go-kart and an equal second is the Baseball. Mini golf is more for the kids and keeps them quite engaged. Lots of parking. The only drawback is that there is not a lot of options for food - if that alone could be looked at, it would be great.
At first I was dissapointed by prices but when I noticed that it's a 2km track I understood the prices. Should be noted they have a special cash price for bulk laps. Track was in good shape, plenty of staff keeping things moving too. Only real complaint is that at 5'9 and 240 lbs I found I was a bit crammed into the ride. But otherwise a ton of fun. 4/5, 9/10... either way, recommend checking it out. Goes great with Wasaga Paintball around the corner.
We wife, 12 year old son, and myself went Go-Karting on Monday for my wife's and son's birthday and it was a great experience. We had an absolute blast! The staff were extremely friendly, patient, accommodating, helpful, and engaging. I don't know where they found these young adults but other businesses could sure learn a few things about hiring practices from Wasaga 500. I love how each lap is itself a race so we can all regroup and start each new lap together. We also liked the way you can buy the laps, then split them up any way you like. Toward the end, my son wanted to change our original lap-sharing arrangements because he didn't want to race any laps by himself, and the staff were extremely patient and accommodating. At first it sounded a bit pricey, but when you consider the length of the track, the ridiculous cost of gas these days, kart maintenance, and employee costs I'm sure I've missed some, perhaps it doesn't seem so pricey after all. And when we compared it to other activities we were considering prior to, such as horseback riding and kayaking, GO-Karting was the less expensive yet more exciting option. Thanks to all the staff who made our experience a fun and memorable one. Hopefully we can do it again before the season ends! If not, see you next summer :
Its an amazing, to have a quick fun time kids and family...
So much fun! Each lap is quite long and has some pretty challenging turns! Staff was excellent and very helpful. My daughter had a blast! We will definitely be back!
Went to Wasaga 500 while at the cottage. Went early in the morning to avoid larger crowds. Price was fair given the size of the course. Although I don’t understand why some packages require you to pay in cash and not with credit cards. Good selection of helmets. We really enjoyed the two seater options for people. This was perfect for our younger son while allowing him to think he was driving with the second steering wheel. My one negative about our experience were the teenagers working at the track. They were clearly more concerned socializing with each other than helping customers.
