A well kept , quiet , friendly and very clean camp ground. Lots of activities for the whole family including live music and a fishing derby . Not much privacy between sites but overall a nice place to camp.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Love this place, dog friendly, lots off trails, but people there drive far too fast well above the posted speed limit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Mom of 3 under 11. I'd say most of the campsites are geared more to RVs but there are a few nice ones by the lake that are gorgeous. We stayed in one that had its own dock overlooking the lake. It's one of the nicest campsites we've been to. At first glance, the firewood looks expensive but the cords are generous. The logs are significant. Some of the best firewood we've ever gotten at a campsite. Lots of activities. The regulars also host a ton of events. We went during the Civic Holiday long weekend. There was a country music concert one night, ice cream stand the next day, karaoke the following night. The park has free mini put, a few playgrounds, horshoes, basketball courts and a free swimming pool! There's no beach and no swimming in the lake but you can rent a canoe and/or bring your own boat/flotation device. There are no fishing regulations, other than the provincial ones. We caught mostly Blue Gill and Crappies in the lake and catfish in the river under the bridge. Staff are great. Someone came by to tell me where the potable water was near our site, as it's not listed on the map. There's a few nice trails, although relatively short compared to other places we've camped. I recommend bringing bikes to get around but it's not a huge park and is probably walkable. Although, everyone seemed to have golf carts. Closest town is only 10 mins. away. Groceries in town are a bit pricey but their ice is priced better than the park and I highly recommend Dollar Haven. I think it's worth mentioning that the park is surrounded by farms. It's near a busy a road. And there were a lot of Cessnas flying overhead. There was also a cornfield and a cemetery? Which was a little odd. But overall, a lovely place. Definitely worth the drive from Toronto.
Loved it here. Lots of dog walking. George was very friendly, brought treats for dogs. He was always cleaning or checking sitesVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Best park that I've ever been. Clean, property immaculate, washrooms immaculate. Has a pool, mini putt, volleyball court. Just awesome. Great walking trails. Recommended big time. Would absolutely go again. Only a 25 min drive to Sarnia.
Very nice tent camping with electric/water onsite. Very clean washroom and shower.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Clean. Quiet. Good facilities. However, there are two sides to this place. One side has very large lots with electricity and water. The other side has much smaller sites also with electricity and water. Both sites are adequate. Although there is no sewer hook up, they do offer two dumping stations. I would recommend this place to anyone. I never saw it because of the time of year and the weather, but they have a pool here. They also have a playground for kids and a horseshoe pit. There are numerous trails and they tent canoes. Good place.
Great place nice and quiet. Friendly people awesome scenery. If i could change one thing it would be to have the washroom and shower facility hours posted on there website. Other then that fantastic place for couples, families etc.
Nice place for a walk and listening to nature
Great place to camp or visit
