Incredibly expensive and portions are small. We've bought different portions a few times, and the ratio of meat to gravy every time is bad. You can see how much meat/protein there is in my pictures. There's barely any. Rice = $7.99. Rice costs nothing, so this is a huge and unnecessary markup. Medium butter chicken that's enough for one person = $19.49. Chicken thighs are cheap, and there isn't much in it. Garam Masala is a bit expensive, but not sure how they justify the price. The value isn't there, and I feel like the prices are bumped up for its novelty. It all tastes great. I won't argue that. It's really good, but I've made alright butter chicken before for a fraction of this, and it made a ton. It wasn't nearly as good as theirs, of course, but come on. This is a shakedown, fleecing locals. How can you afford to ever eat out at these prices?
As someone else said, incredibly expensive and small portions. My image shows a medium size butter chicken and a medium size rice. That is 30 dollars. Enough butter chicken for 2, enough rice for 4. Tasted great but for the money go to Binbrook or Ancaster and get better food at a far better value. It's sad because Caledonia needs more quality and diverse food options but I'm afraid this place will not last the way they are going.
If you live in Caledonia and like to order Indian food, you no longer need to travel out of town! I have tried a number of different cooked meals they also sell a variety of marinated meats, and everything was as good as, if not better than anything I've ordered from Indian restaurants in Hamilton and the surrounding area.
This place has some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Compared to other take-out options, this is very expensive. That being said, this is not just another take-out option. This is gourmet Indian. The food here is better than any high-end Indian dine-in establishment and much cheaper. It’s well worth the money. Just incredible every time.
Amazing flavour and friendly service. Order food from here for our Christmas work party and the gentleman was very helpful. Of course, I had to try something and I will definitely go back to get meals for ourselves again. So very delicious!
The food is absolutely delicious. They offer levels of spiciness to choose from, so you can pick what you prefer. It is expensive for the portion size, so I don't get to go nearly as often as I would like to go. I would eat here every day if I could afford it. I go maybe once every month or two.
It was my first time visiting and I was welcomed very warmly! The butter chicken was delicious with the perfect amount of spice medium. The meal was $20 for a small serving but it is enough for two people to share, worth it in my opinion! My food was brought to me outside while I waited. Will definitely come again!
Excellent every time. Fish curry is great. Butter chicken is amazing. Naan bread is the best ever!
Best Indian food place I have had, and I have tried places in Ottawa and Toronto.
Every item purchased was several dollars more than posted in store prices. Small rice was $6.99 on my bill, med butter chicken $22.99. Please don't advertise one and charge another. Food was just okay. 8 small chunks of chicken for over 22$ seems unreasonable.
