Very well marked trails. Nice enough park but parking is too expensive for regular use. Parking fees: $5 with Park Pass, $10 without Park Pass -- daily May through mid-Oct; weekends only mid-Oct. through mid-May.

Beautiful park with short hiking trails suitable for our 4-year old. The tent sites were spacious and far apart from each other. One drawback was we didn't have phone service which made it difficult for us to find a grocery store to buy food and firewood... will plan appropriately next time.

Nice place to hike if walking in the forest does it for you. The trail maps are very good, all the trails I saw were well marked, and all the intersections are numbered both on the trail and on the map, so finding your way is a snap. I visited the Indian Rock Shelter, which was nice, and the old fire tower at the peak. The fire tower is gone so don't expect a panorama view there. I also camped here once which was a good experience overall.

A fine place for a family day hike offering many trails if easy to moderate difficulty, and fine views,.The extensive, trail network is exceptionally well-marked, in fact it might well be the best mapped and blazed trail network I've ever used. That makes it a snap to change your plans, to lengthen a hike if you have the whim, or to cut your walk short if you need to. Kudos to the folks who mapped and marked the trails.
