Story

Walter Murray Collegiate Institute, also known as Walter Murray Collegiate and WMCI, is a high school serving grades 9 to 12, located in south-eastern Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This public secondary school was established in 1962 and is supported by the infrastructure of the Nutana Suburban Centre, a part of the Nutana Suburban Development Area. This school falls under the jurisdiction of the Saskatoon Public School Division. The school is named after Dr. Walter Charles Murray, first president of the University of Saskatchewan. It is one of only two Saskatoon high schools to offer the Advanced Program (the other is Bedford Road) for gifted students, and a full French Immersion program (the other is Marion M. Graham Collegiate). WMCI has a technology wing that offers mechanics, welding, electronics, wood-working, machining, and photography/graphic arts to its students. WMCI also offers courses to those learning English as a second language. As well, Walter Murray offers many successful athletic programs, such as its cross country team, which is a 7 consecutive time defending city championship winning team, wrestling team, whose girls won cities in 2007 and boys were runners-up, as well as their football program, where Walter Murray had made it to the city final 3 of the past 8 years and their junior football team, who sported the only undefeated record in the city. Recently, they added a hockey program to their list of athletic programs.

Teachers here are amazing. When you show you are motivated and interested they will reward you. People are friendly and the ones who arent are usually outsiders.
The male principal chases a student out the school when the student was having a break down. then further to humiliate her in front of the teachers. My experience teachers are friendly at first but get very rude durn minor inconvenience.
Went to school here, most teachers are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and love to see you succeed. There’s a wide range of classes to take, some that aren’t offered anywhere else in the city. Highly recommend attending.
More like a 4.5, I love it, but of course, there are some things I dislike about it as well. The school is beautiful, spacious and has a beautiful grassy area outside that's great when the weather's warm. I have made some of the best friends ever, some friends I don't really like, and some people I honestly hate. The teachers are generally nice and helpful, but you might get an occasional teacher you don't like, most likely a sub though. It's huge, so you might get lost, but I knew how to get to everywhere by the first week or so. The only things I don't like is Murray Advantage for grade 9 students. It's a joke, we never use the twenty minutes for fun anyways. The courtyard...it's locked, and we can't use it. The girl's bathrooms...stink and never have toilet paper when you really need it. Overall, a beautiful collegiate and I highly recommend coming here :
As far as the school layout and the students in it go- THE best highschool in the city. As far as the administration goes? Horrible, the Vice Principal is the worst in the city Mrs. P who spends her days searching down little things to attack her students over... kicks out students even hard working ones for small reasons in disregard to their education.
This school has a lot of thicc people in there. Would definitely stay here forever if I could. But beware of the thots as they come in many numbers. The girls are hellla fine. Would relax with em a lot. Good times ;0
I always hear good things about this institution. But better is available. I have lots of very, very good people those are product of this school. I would go for it.
L school. Everything is hella mismanaged.
vemding machine Scame me
If you go here, every day is leg day. Mostly because the school is massive.
