They are stocked on items, but the food section is a mess, things are everywhere and prices are missing see photos. The rising food costs means that if I can't see the price, I'm not even going to bother. In the men's clothing they're out of common sizes of hoodies, and the workshoe prices do not match the quality. The safety shoes are very heavy and uncomfortable, especially in comparison to Mark's Work Warehouse shoes. Shopped electronics for a Samsung S22 Ultra phone case and there isn't even a spot on the pegs for the case... The best selling Samsung phone for awhile now. The best part is the move to the "environmentally friendly" bags only policy with a 95% markup and basically fall to pieces after 2 uses. Screw the customer is the new policy here.
This review is specificaly about the Party Lead staff working at the store today, his name is Tarnepreet. Terrible manners, the worst costumer service experience. He was rude, he yell at me and brush me away with his hands up in a very aggressive manner. I went to pick up 5 letters of a name, I purchase a holder and he wrap them for me, as I was leaving I realized there was an extra number which was not mine and told him. He unwrapped the number in bad manners and I left. The moment I step a foot out the door, one of the balloons flew away....people try to help me, but we couldn't get it back. It was completed untied from the whole group of balloons I purchased 6 in total. I went back right away and instead of listening to me and acknowledging what was happening he gave me a terrible attitude and said "that is your problem, you will need to buy that letter again". I try to explain to him that this was probably his own fault as all the other balloons were perfectly fine, but this one was untied all together. He was rude, incompetent and aggressive. Simply, not okay. As soon as I arrived to my friend house and tell the story, apparently they new this guy is the rudest and they don't even bother going there. Please someone train this guy in basic costumer services. I did not even asked for the ballon for free, but I was not expecting such an aggressive and poor treatment. He did such a terrible job that the moment I arrived to my house I had to rebind all the balloon and one of them, went to waste already, 4 hours before the party. What a disappointment. Terrible services from this person and rude. I know this is not Walmart employee, but a third party one...to whom ever supervise him, my advice is: have him in training before he ruin the business. I had to go through costumer services in Walmart and asked them to please get me the missing letter, which I had to pay again for his incompetency so I do not have to see his face again. Avoid him if you can.
This location provides me the groceries when I place an online order. It's never been great, but now I just have to leave a review as it is HORRENDOUS. They failed to actually show up and deliver the groceries I ordered the day before, despite sending emails that it would be delayed and then that it was on its way when it wasn't! I even got a call from Door Dash to tell me they had been waiting 2 hours for this location to release the order. Wow, Walmart doesn't even have their own delivery team? The order never arrived so I called the next morning and was promised I would receive at my desired time that day. It never came and the order was CANCELLED by a store associate at this location without my consent. I was then on the phone for an hour with the online orders supervisor who compensated me with a 15$ coupon. I had to redo my entire order, item by item, and selected Express Delivery since my fridge was empty by now. Within 30 minutes, this location had once again without my consent CANCELLED my $200+ grocery order. Trust me, the cheap prices might be appealing but when you're missing so many items in your delivery, IF your delivery even comes, it truly isn't worth the hassle. Voila, Metro, PC Express would NEVER "not" deliver an order. Nor would they cancel orders without customer consent. Yes this was worth leaving a review about and even 1 star is generous.
How the mighty has fallen. Was there on Saturday July 16/2022 with my son buying some groceries and frozen goods for the weekend. The frozen section was a mess, the washroom was terrible and many food products had incorrect tags. I added some pictures he took just to show you what we are referring too. Absolutely terrible. Was it lazy staff or bad customers, maybe both? Frozen fish in the frozen veggies section?
Without a doubt the worst shopping experience in Toronto. Constantly out of stock, no cashiers, never any bags, never any service. You line up to bag your own groceries, then you have to line up a second time to have your groceries verified. The reasoning? “Our customers take advantage of us.” Hit or miss finding staples such as milk, sweet potatoes, pepper, baguettes, etc. Never again.
I saw that an elderly gentleman needed a scooter. He spotted a young girl who then came over sat on the scooter, worked with the keys a little bit and told him " it needs to be charged" sorry, then left. a volunteer who sensed the man's disbelief came to his rescue! He sat on the scooter turn the key and got the senior on his shopping journey. He asked one of the other employees if they would store his walker at customer service. Walmart, you have a Gem. I asked his name and he told me Luciano. What a kind man and such a beautiful smile. We need more volunteers like him. !!
This Walmart branch has many things on stock but it's understaffed and is very messy, everything is thrown everywhere and there are many garbage cartons and stuff that need to be thrown away. The waiting lines are long and there are few cashiers who are processing the payments. It's hard to find an employee to help with something and it took me almost 20 minutes to just find a pair of shoes. I bought the shoes and when I cam home, the cashier didn't remove the security tag see the picture.
Shop elsewhere. Chicken is left out for hours. Freezers are left open. Food purchased here will make you sick.
Razers and electric toothbrush heads are locked up. Asked one associate twice to get some to open. And Asked two other associates who actually did their job and put a call out for some to assist. Waited a long time and no came over to open the cabinet. Management check your cameras. Nov14 530pm-610pm. Will definitely be shopping elsewhere for those items.
Aref and Nemish in electronics department...AMAZING!! Very knowledgeable, patient and willing to answer any and all questions. I didn't go in with the intention of purchasing a phone but in the end, I am glad and confident that I made the best choice. Thanks Aref, your customer service skills are wonderful. See you again.
