Walmart used to be my go-to. Now it's my run-from. Aisles always full of product, bathrooms are dirty, employees that lounge about speaking a foreign language on the phone almost 99% of the time I see a blue vest - hard to find a person to help you that can understand AND have time for you. Whoever is running the show here must shop elsewhere because Yorkton Walmart is definitely not a place ya wanna be.
Customer service was SUPER helpful. But the electronics section SUCKS. I asked for help with an accessory for my iPad. Was assured yes, it’s compatible by a man in the electronic section. Sadly, it wasn’t. Came back to exchange it, and the lady working in the electronics department helped probably five people before me because she needed to walk with me to the front. It took all of four seconds and she was no longer needed. I’m mostly mad I needed to exchange it in the first place. You need to hire people who know what they’re even selling.
Everytime I come here, I can not understand any of the employees. I asked where the coat racks were and 4 employees had no idea what I was talking about. I had to type it in on their work hand scanner and they still didn’t know ! I had to show them on my phone by googling a picture. Pathetic.
Pretty sure the only word they know is “no” ask them about anything if you can even find them they either avoid people or stand in tight groups of 3 or more and talk loudly in their native tongue and avoid eye contact you get a “no”, “we don’t”, or “sorry” or they tell me to go to one area of the store and there is nothing even remotely close to what I was asking for. Go to try and find them again they actively hide and avoid you. Ask for the manager and she always seems to it be out. Ask for a supervisor oh they aren’t available either. Absolute garbage customer service and don’t get me started on how trashed the store looks. If I could give zero stars I would. 0/10 do not recommend unless you like being ignored and avoided.
Plant shop,,, June, 30/25nP.m. one clerk was very helpful, one at the till was questionable. Was an east Indian I think as am not familiar with these races.nShe was unsure of the coin amounts, and kept checking.nWhere do these people get trained, or do they??nCome on people, why does English, matu, and common knowledge not matter any more???nI remember when retail was an important job, and taken seriously or you were let go.nPride in the job, efficiency and knowledge was a requirement.nNow a day these clerks? are wasting our time.nUnhappy customer,
