A large, comprehensive store offering everything from A to Z: vegetables, cheeses, dairy products, meats, clothing, furniture, electronics, sporting goods, and electrical appliances. Everything you need is available in one store. Friendly staff are ready to help and answer your questions. The prices are good for the quality.
I had such a wonderful experience at Walmart thanks to Jasmeet the Customer Service Manager in Nanaimo! She was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. She took the time to answer all my questions without rushing me and made sure I completely understood everything. You can tell she truly cares about customers and takes pride in her work.nnIt’s not often you come across someone who goes above and beyond with such a positive attitude. Jasmeet made my shopping experience smooth and stress-free. Walmart is lucky to have her.I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!
Absolutely unacceptable. Walmart missed around $80 worth of groceries from our delivery order today and didn’t even bother to mention it. No note, no explanation, nothing. This also isn’t the first time this has happened.nnHow hard is it to read an already prepared order and make sure everything is actually included? This is basic, entry-level competence. We planned meals around this order, and now we’re short a huge chunk of what we paid for.nnIf you can’t handle something as simple as packing a complete grocery order, maybe grocery delivery isn’t the business you should be in. Pathetic service and zero accountability.
Save money, but at what cost? From reading the comments, I am not alone. The customer service is terrible. I had to deal with a rude and mouthy self-checkout attendant, and when the manager on duty came over, he looked like a customer in plain street clothes. He acted like he didn't care much either. Not every professional.nnWhile we are talking about the self-checkout, why do they cram everyone into one side, and leave the other side closed, when it's clearly busy enough to open both sides?nnThe perfunctory response in this review section from the owner head office where it pretends to care, but really doesn't demonstrates where the management and staff get their attitude from. People have filled out the surveys, what more do you want, why would they waste any more time, are you going to pay the customer for their consulting fees?nnAnd by the way, Walmart is not always cheaper. Watch them. They sneak in overpriced items on the shelves, like puff pastry and Chlorox Clean-up spray. Don't pay anymore than $3.50 for the former Walmart was $5.17, and go to the dollar store for the latter $3 at dollar store, and $6+ at Walmart.
Bought a new microwave at Nanaimo store, opened it up once we got home. Item was used and did not function was broken amd had food splattered inside of it. The following day we tried to exchange the item for a new one. Thought it would be a basic exchange based on the previous information. Wal mart refused to warranty the item. They took my money for a faulty used product and refused a basic exchange. Treated me like a criminalnLast time I shop here.
