Walmart Sept. Iles Store

I recently drove past your store and couldn’t help but notice the large Canadian flag at the back of your building is severely torn and tattered. Given its high visibility from the highway—including to cross-border traffic—it reflects poorly on both the store and our national pride. Especially in these uncertain times, it’s more important than ever to show respect for our country and its symbols. I urge you to replace the flag as soon as possible to demonstrate the pride and respect Canada deserves.

There are many hard working employees at this store. However, the management is lacking in leadership. The photo shop area is completely overwhelmed with orders. People in there are barely keeping afloat with all the task. The sports section has no staff. Then I looked to see where management was. I walked the whole store and not one manager on the floor. It times during your busy time, managers need to be on the floor to direct areas that need support.

Unfortunately won’t be shopping here anymore. Shopped here multiple times a week for years, until today. Short lady that was working in the tech section decided to scream at myself and my fiancé and accuse us of stealing, all because my fiancé opened a box to look at a pair of headphones closer to ensure they would fit. My son was frightened by her, and we bought the headphones even, and she made sure to scream and follow and make sure everyone knew SHE thought we were thiefs. This was all done completely in the open, not hidden, but apparently to her we still were somehow stealing even after purchasing hundreds of dollars of merchandise. My son left the store still frightened by this woman’s outburst. I will not be returning.

Overview:nOut of all the Walmarts I’ve been to I wasn’t expecting Sarnia to be in the top 5 I’ve ever visited. No complaints here.nnStaff:nStaff were helpful and nice. They were doing what they needed to and the ones who I’d expect to greet me or approach me did that well.nnCleanliness/moderness:nExactly what I’d expect from a Walmart. Not a bad thing at all. This specific location is especially clean I found.nnWould I go back?nIf I needed to absolutely. They were great at this location!
