It could be that I have bad luck, but this Walmart location always seems crowded when I shop here. However, I discovered a quieter time—Tuesday nights between 9 and 10 PM—when the store was nearly empty and easy to navigate.nnEntrance & ParkingnThere are several designated accessible parking spots near the entrance. As I don’t drive, I can only say they appear well-maintained. The entrance is spacious with sliding doors, but is often blocked by employees bringing in long trains of carts through the exit, which clogs access to customer service, washrooms, partner services, and mobility aids—all located to the left of the entrance. Washrooms are also available at the back of the store.nnAisle AccessibilitynThe aisles are generally wide, allowing smooth movement, though visibility from a scooter can be limited and may lead to near-collisions when exiting aisles. The self-care and pharmacy sections often feel cramped, especially for mobility aid users.nnCheckout ExperiencenRegister height is accessible from a scooter, and the scooter basket is large enough to manage your items. Checkout is smooth. I appreciate seeing more traffic at staffed registers, supporting employee jobs. While I avoid self-checkout, staff are available to help there, though the area can feel crowded for scooters.nnSeating AreasnThere are two benches near customer and partner services, but they’re not always easy to reach. The overall lack of seating makes the courtesy scooters even more appreciated.nnLighting & NoisenThis store is brightly lit and noisy when crowded. It offers designated quiet shopping hours—the early morning for those avoiding noise and the late evening for night owls like me. Outside these times, the store is often so busy that I don’t feel safe shopping.nnStaff Training & AssistancenStaff here are attentive. While using a scooter, I felt watched in a helpful, not suspicious, way. I didn’t need assistance this visit, but I’m confident help would have been easy to find.nnStock & Shelf AccessibilitynDuring peak hours, I avoid reaching for high or deep-shelved items. I trust staff would help, but sometimes it’s easier to leave the item behind.nnOverall Comfort & ExperiencenOn my quiet Tuesday night visit, I enjoyed a few scooter laps around the store just for fun. If you’ve been cooped up for a few days, I highly recommend it!
Don't take your reusable bags into the store! Apparently they aren't allowed in the store anymore. I walked in with some reusable bags and got screamed at by the greeter. I didn't know she was yelling at me as I hadn't done anything wrong but she kept yelling at me until she got my attention. No I wasn't returning anything and no I wasn't going by customer service. I was almost to the carts by the time she got my attention. She told me she had to put a sticker on my empty reusable bag. Even though I walked in with about 10 other people who had bookbags, reusable bags etc, I was the only one singled out and yelled at. So Walmart east you have a HUGE problem employee, the blonde lady greeter who should not be yelling at anyone. I don't know her name as her name tag was conveniently hidden. If I could give zero stars for this I would as this experience wasn't even worth one star.
Good Store, but goods are pretty much scattered. They have managed well to procure staple foods though. If everything will be mentioned properly on overhead placards, then it would have helped more. Adding to it the essentials like Salt, Rice, Wheat should be in ample qty, which is not
I asked my wife to try and find me a chamois, which is quite difficult for someone to locate.nBut she asked one of your employees for assistance and NAND came to her rescue.nShe said he was very helpfulnThank you for the good service
Went to get a new booster seat for my daughter as I had seen it online for 149$ and the store showed it was in stock. Arrived to the store proceeded to check out, car seat rang in at 250. I showed clerk the ad, and she called over a supervisor. Supervisor confirmed car seat would have to be bought online to get that price. Even though, it was stating in stock at that store, drove 20 minutes for it. It was not something they could do for that price.
